I know a guy like this, but in his defence, dude was a Sallesman ( image is very important ) and this was almost 30 years ago, plus everyone knew, even his wife, i assume they had an " understanding ", but he had 2 or 3 kids with her though.

40 years ago I was a bank where my SIL worked. She introduced me to her boss. His last name was Gay. Later, I told her that Gay wasn’t just his last name. He actually is Gay. I don’t think she believed me. Another time I was there his wife and kids happened to be there. Beautiful young family. I was thinking how hurt they will likely be at some point in the future. 30 years later my SIL was visiting and asked if I remembered her old boss at the bank. She said that he is now divorced from his wife, married a guy and took his husband’s last name. I tell that to people and use it as an example of why we should not stigmatize being gay. Too many people grow up, fake that they are straight, get married to a person of the opposite sex and people get hurt. If we let people be who they are, fewer instances like that will happen.

Yep know of a guy who came out after 30 years of marriage and 3 kids. Told his wife he had been cheating on her the entire marriage with another man. Then told her she had to stay because he didn't want the stigma of coming out. She wasn't to cheat though, just pretend.

Verbal and physical abuse is not ok!! Otherwise as a general rule I try not to get involved in other people’s relationship bc I don’t know what they want to put up with for what they gain etc. many people are happy living a lie and don’t want that shattered. Whereas another person wouldn’t be ok w the same situation that someone was ok w. I just stick to what I’m ok w. I do like to hear relationship stories and take it as face value as a story.

Ok the husband might be hiding stuff, but it's his phone... My husband's phone is his, I'd never ask to see anything in it and it goes both ways... Privacy :D Or also, he is in a toxic/ abusive relationship. Consider the reverse: a female friend of mine had her boyfriend who wanted to check her history, one day she didn't pick up fast enough to his taste, he thought she was on a call and hiding it, he threatened to contact the phone company where he had a friend working to go through her whole call list. he would have given her hell just seeing the number of a male coworker on the call list. Might not be the case here, but the whole thing in this pic is cringe inducing. these two need to talk or split i guess :D

We don't know what's in the call history, but TBH if she's checking up on him like this then it'd not be surprising if he was looking elsewhere.

Not the exact same situation but I had a friendship like that. It was like walking on eggshells. No matter what I said or did, she’d turn it into something bad that I did. It was borderline abusive. I remember her screaming at me one time because I texted another friend happy birthday, when me and her we just had had a fight. She went berzerk. In hindsight I think she just had real issues. I cut all ties shortly after.

Um, fact: pigmentation requires mature expression of melanin. It is very, very common for babies to not properly express melanin, so black babies can look several shades lighter (and potentially white) when born. Hope this idiot actually got a DNA test.

Has he actually taken a paternity test, or is this just based on thinking the baby doesn't look enough like him? (Too pale perhaps?) Because if it's the first, yes she's aweful and he is handling it really well. If it's the second he is the biggest jerk in the world.

I think the fact that he says he was "...there since day 1..." indicates that he's been raising the baby for quite some time and that this post was not written on the actual day of the birth. It appears that this has nothing to do with the baby's skin color and that he found out later, through a DNA test or because the mother told him.
