Agreed. Thought the same. Especially the 3rd photo of Hiccup. I swear it was Jake G from Prince of Persia haha
Load More Replies...k but why that last picture of John look like he and chris hemsworth got their DNA spilced?
It does kinda actually. Had to zoom in. Maybe lighting and editing. It is him in Amazon's Jack Ryan. Or maybe him in 13 Hours Movie. been Jacked ever since. Hes currently Mr Fantastic/Reed Richards for the Marvels movies too.
Load More Replies...And the funny thing is that Jim really had the haircut of the first drawing for many seasons of the Office! Why didn't they use the right pictures?
I loved his interview on the Graham Norton Show with wife Emily Blunt.
They should’ve done Jim’s haircut in the first seasons for the first image comparison. He’s got floppy hair over his forehead during that time
It's not fair... men can get old, grow a beard and suddenly become permanently sexy. That happened to me ONE SUMMER in high school and it's all been downhill from there. Dwight looks HOT
Dwight IS SO HOT. Rainn Wilson is actually a sweet and sensitive person from what I've read. And if you guys haven't seen him dancing with his rescue pitbulls, stop what you're doing right now and look it up. It's beautiful.
Load More Replies...I think beards look great on some men, but I don’t like them in a tactile way
Load More Replies...A men grows a beard and he's sexy, I do it and I'm a circus attraction.
100% agree. Beards are like makeup: they hide imperfections, like acne scars; they enhance traits, adding volume in parts that are considered more masculine, like the jaw; they hide a weak chin or a double chin. They add "maturity" to a baby face. 90% of men look better with a beard. Same percentage but reversed for mustaches.
“The Office” could almost be described as “lightning in a bottle,” if it wasn’t for the fact that there are literally two, very successful versions of the show, the original, UK version and the generally better-known US version. A sitcom without a laugh track, filmed like a documentary with character interviews interspersed throughout each episode, it’s surprising that Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant ever convinced the BBC to produce it in the first place.
Greg Daniels had the unenviable task of adapting the smash UK to American television, but by season two, it was clear that he, the writers, and the cast had succeeded, as the show went on to win multiple awards and become one of NBC’s highest-rated scripted series while it was on the air.
if you overthink overthinking you come out OK: That's not a traffic light in the highlighted fraction of the picture; it's a portion of the case holding a traffic light.
Damn, now I'm thinking about whether there are really traffic lights in the picture, or just casings.
Load More Replies...For those who aren’t aware, first, I’m surprised you scrolled this far, but secondly, the show takes place in the Pennsylvania mining town of Scranton, with its iconic intro being filmed by John Krasinski on a research trip. However, principal photography was mostly done in North Hollywood on a variety of sets. Nevertheless, Scranton has embraced its newfound fame as the home of one of Dunder Mifflin’s branches and would display the fake companies ads and banners around the city.
LOL I thought he had pigtails and a schoolgirl outfit on!! I was like "WTF HOW DID I MEMORIZE A SERIES AND MISS AN EPISODE ???" bedtime NOW. After I finish this page.
Oh no! It's 3:39am here in the US, hope you're sleepy now.
Load More Replies...Glad to hear she's reprising her role, but apparently Fear and Disgust's VAs are not coming back.
Oooooh I always thought it was actually Phyllis in that movie I was confused why Phyllis was just in that girls brain now I get it it was like a character
We had to stop saying it 900 times a day when we had kids LOL it was Harrrd, wait for it... ____s ____ ___ ____! Ahhhhhh haha
One ingredient in “The Office’s” recipe for success was the decision to focus the show on something painfully and abundantly relatable, the titular reality of an office job. Credit here must be given to Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant for understanding the potential appeal of this kind of content, in contrast with the “tried and true” sitcom formulas of the time, whether it was a family sitcom, like “Married... with Children” or ones based on a group of friends like “Seinfeld” or “Friends.”
This is me 100%. I will try to get out of my own birthday dinner most years.
stop planning em. i haven't had a birthday party in nearly 10 years and never looked back
Load More Replies...There is a way to make the images work: click format picture and select text wrap. This works well.
Ha bleedin ha. It didn't work then it did work, then it didn't work again. Now you have to pray to the Gods of Microsoft each time you think of moving an image, text box or drawing.
Load More Replies...Picture Format / Position / More Layout Options / Text Wrapping Tab / Square / OK - Move picture anywhere you desire.
Y’all just never learned how to use Word properly, probably center things using tabs and spaces too! >.<
I was just about to say , and of course it's an Ohio license plate
Load More Replies...The fact that to a it's an Ohio license plate makes it so much better.
Of course, it’s impossible to understate just how important and iconic Steve Carell’s performance as Michael Scott was in cementing the show as one of the all-time greats. Beyond just an impossible lack of self-awareness, the showrunners made an interesting decision to veer away from the more morose and mean boss from the UK version, instead making Michael Scott likable at some moments, as well as surprisingly competent as a salesperson.
This always makes la laugh. Back in the nineties I worked in resort real estate rentals. Saturday was the busy day. People had to check out by 10am, and the condos had to be cleaned by 2pm which was check in time. Check out wasn’t so bad, because most people left their rental packet and keys in our dropbox. Then the office doors were locked, and there was a sign on them that said, in huge letters, that check in time was not until 2pm, and no early check ins were allowed. Even if someone pounded on the doors and/or tried to force the them open, we did NOT let them in. Every single Saturday, I would take two aspirin at 1:55pm, right before the doors opened, because I knew damned well that before the afternoon was over, I would have a splitting headache if I didn’t. Prevention is nine tenths of the cure. I also was one of the two people in charge of the cleaners, and took my complaints from customers whose units weren’t cleaned, or weren’t cleaned well, or just people who were dreaming about how perfect their cheaper older unit built in the sixties or seventies that has never been renovated was going to be. There are times when you could scrub a hole through something and it will never look any cleaner. Also, cleaners would start the dishwasher and put the wash in the dryer (departing renters were supposed to put the dishes in the dishwasher and the linens in the washer, and turn both on, before leaving), but didn’t have time to stick around to unload either one. People would complain the entire unit wasn’t clean because the dryer and dishwasher weren’t unloaded. Granted, sometimes there were cleaners who didn’t do their job, or were running late because of traffic and/or units that were ungodly filthy and took longer to clean, but I cannot tell you how many times we’d send the cleaning companies’ inspectors to condos people said weren’t clean, only to find the place was so clean you could eat off the floors but those two things were their only (non-)complaints. The condition that some people left those privately owned condos in would shock you. Believe me, I have seen some s**t and I have stories.
This is even funnier considering your last name lol
Load More Replies...While just playing with the same buttons he was told NOT to touch! You know, like the ones on the baler and the forklift.
Load More Replies...Understandably, Steve Carell was also one of the best-paid actors on the show, reportedly making $175,000 per episode, while some of his co-stars had starting salaries of around $20’000 an episode, although pay rose from season to season, as the show became more and more popular. Both Steve and Rainn Wilson were also known for the amount of improvisation they did during scenes.
The pilot was nearly word for word the pilot of the original British version. You have to watch more episodes to get a handle on the characters and story, as they grew and changed with each one, and made the series their own instead of a carbon copy of the original—-which played to an audience with a somewhat different sense of humor to ours (still hilarious, but then again I’m married to a Brit, so I get it).
I’m not married to a Brit and I still enjoy British humor…especially The IT Crowd!
Load More Replies...I stare into invisible cameras often because of this show. Please help me.
My husband and me did this for a couple of weeks after watching the final season together! I had to get myself together when I leaving the house!
Load More Replies...I told my brother I didn't like Mandalorian. He asked how many episodes I watched. I told him I watched four (I wanted to give it a chance). "No!" he screamed, "It gets way better. You have to give it a chance." Smh
People who only watch one episode is missing out on SO SO much!!
As a British guy in my 30s I bever watched the uk version at all, I just watched us version and u loved it.
The pilot was quite boring in all fairness but keep with it, it definitely gets funnier It's actually my comfort show ❤️
I didn't get The Office at all. I haven't seen a single episode of neither versions.
LITERALLY the FUNNIEST SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THIS SHOW. For real COMEDY GOLD 🥇🪙
As someone who has seen the whole thing, if you didn't like the first episode, you won't like the show.
…because the same boss who’s congratulating me for my loyalty and work ethic hasn’t given me a raise since I started working there. For some reason, the company is always just barely staying open, so there’s no money for raises. But the boss just bought a bigger boat and a vacation house. Hmmm…
My parents got divorced when I was eight and now they live where their family lives my dad in South Dakota and my mom in New York. So these things only applied to me when I was under 8 years old. 🤞
It’s the opposite in my house…I say no, mom comes in and is like ah why not…
The combination of heavy improvisation and overly long scripts meant that many episodes were significantly longer than they should have been, writer and actor B. J. Novak revealed. Often this would require the editors to cut significantly in an attempt to keep the run time around twenty-two minutes an episode. The producers still chose to treat deleted scenes as cannon when writing subsequent episodes.
While the “documentary” nature of the show might seem jarring at first viewing, most of the audience got used to it quickly and wouldn’t pay any attention to the cinematography. However, the producers made a conscious effort to have the “documentary crew” make sense within the office itself. They walk through the set to see if a character would be able to notice the “camera crew” from where they were sitting, for example.
Wasn't it Jim's footage from Scranton that is in the actual intro? Hold on- consulting my Office Encyclopedia
Yes. Yes it was. They were scouting the location to get a feel for local stuff to use in the storylines. Like the climate, how big a town Scranton is, surrounding cities, nearby resorts (the Poconos), names of local grocery stores, and street names. Stuff like that.

Load More Replies...Dude not even funny, the like 10th time in this thread and the second time of those EXACT WORDS. Just say “Relatable” or “Me:”
Load More Replies...True fans, particularly ones who would pay attention to the credits will also know that much of the cast was actively involved in running the show. The aforementioned B. J. Novak was a writer and producer, while Paul Lieberstein, of Toby Flenderson fame, was the showrunner for a few seasons. Phyllis Smith, who played Phyllis, was a casting associate and simply had such good chemistry with the actors that she ended up with a role on the show.
Pam was actually kind of nice-ish to Dwight, and would even tell Jim when a prank had gone too far, or was inappropriate. So Dwight considered her a friend. I’ve always thought it was a residual effect of his head injury from the accident in “The Injury”. (If you know, you know.)
my favorite is when dwight is going overboard being the building owner so pam threatens to move them to a new building but its all fake, she cries to jim and dwight overhears her and has Nate give her a book of what Dwight is and isnt allowed to do
Load More Replies...I’m assuming this isn’t a high school year book…..if it is they go hard with dressing up for the photos
Graduated 20yrs ago. How we had to dress in a big city. Now live small town. Not sure how our kids will.
Load More Replies...That is one of my favourite episodes! Cushions the blow a bit after Michael leaves
Also kind of lifted from the British original, but with a very American twist, of course.
Load More Replies...It's been about 6 minutes since I read this one and I'm still laughing!!
I never laughed so f*****g hard in my life. I couldn't breathe for 20 straight minutes itcl was the closest I ever came to death from laughing.
They need to replace those smiley "How are you feeling today?" posters with something like this.
Rate your pain scale using these characters - Toby would be a 10

They are SO ANNOYING. And I'm allowed to say it I live for this show.
Creed Bratton was played by Creed Bratton. He was also a founding member of "the grass roots"--- sorry the video isn't syced.... https://youtu.be/HKvxZyM5QdA
Jim, Michael, Dwight, Stanley. At first I thought the Jim charracter was Nate😂
and that one is Jan , because the rest are not psychopaths who destroy dundies .

I can think of someone I need to say this to. If there's a right way and a wrong way to do a thing, they will unerringly choose the wrong way every time.
Wow I am tired. I thought that Said "Bob Vance- Vance Refrigeration" 3 times in a row with his photo cause that's how he greets everybody lol. There's not even 3 pictures there wtf.
Load More Replies...Gotta hand it to Michael. He actually cared enough to know the names of Angela’s cats, and to be upset when one of them died. Wish bosses were actually like this. Not 100% Michael, of course, but the percentage of Michael that’s like this.
We are. There hasn't been a war in my country this year. Sorry about yours.
The number of Harry Potter cross referencing the office proves I have found my people
We do not diss Pam, or Jim, for this. This was sweet.
Load More Replies...Ew he annoys me. I love every single character but him and Pam and unfortunately my dislike is so great it bled into every other part he ever played
I've never watched the office or any movies starring him, so I don't know what he's like: Why does he annoy you?
Load More Replies...Not these two. Jim just bested Dwight. Again.
Load More Replies...Enough of these. They are only funny with the actual office cast in the reference... because there will never be a funnier "that's what she said" than the ones already used in the episodes
You know maybe, just maybe if Dwight was there with his nun chucks he wouldn't have gotten paper shredded.
Yessssss. Rewatching it currently. Would love it on Parks Rec too!
