London-based photographer Denis Cherim challenges the way we look at the world and offers a different perspective. Titled The Coincidence Project, Denis captures harmoniously aligned elements that highlight the balance on our planet.
Over the years, Cherim has collected a huge amount of eye-pleasing compositions. From street photography to nature and landscapes, he continues scanning his surroundings for subtle shapes and interesting light. The artist isn't afraid to crouch or tiptoe to get the perfect angle, and his ongoing work is a remarkable reminder that everything is beautiful. Maybe you just aren't looking at it right. It looks like were sitting under a tent... a tent made of clouds :D
Looks more like it's holding up the mountain to me
Load More Replies...I'm almost sure that this is Vitosha Mountain in Bulgaria. And I the picture takes place in South Park Sofia, Bulgaria.
The pole is holding up a blanket of clouds so it doesn't fall on us and suffocate us all
Would've been cooler if it were a bicycle ;) But nevertheless.... Very cool ;)
It’s a stunning photo, perfectly bisected but it’s by no means symmetrical (i.e. the same on both sides).
Load More Replies...I am seeing the ocean to the lamp....but I am also seeing the 👽 in the sky :/
500 years from now Archeologist will state that Ancient Man designed this building to align with the Sun to make this pattern for some unknown religious reason, and that we worshiped the Sun on this day or whatever. Hehe
Lol! Maybe they'll think the construction was guided by alien technology too!
Load More Replies...I don't know why but I love love love these tile/shadow ones. I've seen a lot of them lately on the internet and it always gives me a shiver of satisfaction XD
Because the line on the sign lines up with the horizon
Load More Replies...The rock alignment aside, I just wanna run away to wherever this picture is. What a beautiful day.
.. If this is not photo-manipulated {who can tell nowadays} then it is an artist who captured it.
Mother bike delivering a baby bike just meters away from the nearest hospital.
I meant that the dark bikes are an awesome contrast to the lighter sky and ocean...
Load More Replies...Well, one of them appears to shoot a rocket to the moon.
Load More Replies...What a wonderful thing to sing in the rain and get the windows washed and dust removed from yen and yang.
Some of these aren't necessarily perfectly timed just taken from a great angle...I mean they are all amazing but the title is a little incorrect...sorry I was totally just "that guy"
Yeah but you weren't an a*****e about it and that's what matters
Load More Replies..." I'm straight ! " " You're not. " " Stop lying to me ! ..the world isn't straight, that's all. "
Hey that is my picture, I posted it on my Facebook page but later I deleted it because of the confusion it was creating... and now to find it here, someone else taking the praises for it :) anyways, glad to see some people like it here. I will however limit my privacy settings, it feels weird to see it here like that!
Oops, I made a mistake, I'm sorry, it's not my pic, should've checked better before commenting here :) i take a lot of trees pictures, got confused :) again I'm sorry. Now can someone delete my comments please? :)
Load More Replies...You literally can't see the forest for the trees! Get my hint?
Load More Replies...This is not a perfectly timed photo :) an interesting and great view photo though :)
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No. It's a self- portrait stick drawing of my sister as Supergirl!
Wow. I thought you needed a barrel of water to capture the moon, but it seems a sharp stake will do the job, too.
You just want the moon on a stick! (Only people that remember Lee and Herring will get the reference)
I have a suspicion that the photographer might add some curves w purpose here :)
A sign from Dave, the guy who paints the street lines.
Load More Replies...I guess they did not want to cut it down so they painted-oh wait...
Lol this picture is satisfyingly gross. The colouring and texture is just totally repulsive somehow haha
The apple core I can understand, but how did scrambled eggs end up on the road?
It's not littering if it's biodegradable and natural. An apple tree doesn't litter when the apple falls from the tree does it??
Load More Replies...Angles and Curves which I thought if placed together well as though part of the art piece and not just added to the art piece, would, in my mind at least, be a perfect scape. However, your images are telling me something completely different. If Nature cannot balance Curves and Angles together and create a pleasing scape then an artist is lying to themselves & any finished piece containing a mix of Both Curves and Angles, whether they are from Nature or Abstract, will cause feelings of discontent to those who hang same in their home or gallery. My thoughts NOT A FACT
I've been in that place. the day i was there, a thunderstorm hung in front of me in the rear view mirror, just over the mountain of blue sky. e.g/ seen but not seen
Hahaha before I seen your comment GED Maybury this was the thought that went through my mind when I seen the picture lol
Great minds think alike, Lyn, but here on the Panda, you've gotta be quick! Stay close, get in fast, and have fun. (& don't get too hung up on getting up-votes, eh?)
Load More Replies...Blackbird sitting on the old gum tree... la la. WAIT... that's not a blackbird, is it?
Maybe it’s so that you don’t have to shake it?
Load More Replies...The local council has preserved this area as an educational tool so that you people might become future Civil Engineers. Right people, what is wrong with this scene? "Sir, the Faux Victorian Street Lamp doesn't match the Norman Castle." Next. "Overhead lines should have gone underground?" Quite right & last glaring problem is? "Area not gridded - lamp added as an afterthought?" NEVER MIX STYLES OF ARCHITECTURE PEOPLE! It's not eclectic - it is Unforgivable! Grid Always! Consider Negative Space. Material or Supplies Must be the Best of Quality and serve a purpose well into the future. Walmart Lighting and poor grade bricks WILL ALWAYS Look Cheap & we must endure.
Does anyone know where this Castle is? I'm always looking for new Castles to visit.
You're out of the woods, you're out of the night, step into the light!
The art of capturing visual resemblance transcends parental lineage and finds its expression in the harmony of everyday scenes.
Just as observing celebrity parents and their children reveals naturally occurring likenesses, visual harmony in Denis Cherim's photographs presents an astonishing perspective on the balance seen in the world around us.
The images are nice. But the title is a fail again. These are not perfectly timed, they are perfectly framed. There's such a huge difference between these two terms. Learn it OP, please.
I love that people are observant enough to notice these scenes. Cool
I am very disappointed in this series. Not one picture made me look twice. Most of them were set up. A lot of them were a poor try at even being framed. I think there were 2 that could be considered perfectly timed. People really need to learn what their titles mean before using them.
