Oftentimes the more you try to sound profound, the shallower your message becomes. The subreddit 'I'm 14 and this is Deep' is a perfect example of this.
Its moderators describe this corner of the internet as "a place to talk about stupid 'deep and meaningful' philosophy found on blogs, Tumblr, Facebook, Reddit, or anywhere else."
"[These are] insights that people should have outgrown by the time they were 14. Jaden Smith is our patron saint, along with many deep Twitter posts."
Created all the way back in April 2013, the subreddit now unites over 1.1 million members who have built quite an extensive gallery of cringe. Here are some of their most popular posts.

A nice bit of denial from her. People mostly scroll through pointless s**t.
This Is To Damn Deep
I love this one. I would change it to "world before I heard about your problem" and "world after I heard about your problem" and it would be perfect. (I'm IT support, not psychologist. For psychologist or something like that it would be little bit too far)

It would make slightly more sense if it had "not" in front of "I'm", I don't get why they went with "ok'nt".

Comedy Good. People Bad
Well, if you can't do comedy without offending (usually marginalized) people, then your comedy is probably sh#t.
Good comedy often reflects mankind’s ironies, hypocrisies, and idiosyncrasies. And sometimes shock therapy gets that across. I’m not condoning maliciously making fun of people, but I am saying that a sterile society is a dead society. Comedians often identify the “elephant in the room.”
Load More Replies...I agree, honestly though, south park was right. If you can't make fun of every group, and one group above all else must NOT be laughed at (looking at u, scientology), then you can't laugh at anything. Comedy is only funny if we can all be silly together. However, picking one group to pick on, or one person, makes it mean and no longer fun and silly. I remember my parents going to a comedy club as a kid. Apparently my (very "swarthy") Dad and my mom, sat up front. The comedian made half his set about how dark and hairy my native American dad was. It ruined all comedy clubs for him. He never went again. It's not fun if we're humiliating one person or one group. It IS fun if we can all laugh together, about all the silly things about every single one of us!
Good comedy makes you question you own ideas. It can't force you to change your mind but it allows you to see something in a way you never have before. Many of my favorite comedians like George Carlin and Dave Chappelle said things I disagree with wholeheartedly but I still appreciate them bringing a point of view I could never find on my own because my own life is so different.
Except that there's still a lot of amazing comedy out there, audiences just aren't as accepting of s**t that's racist, misogynistic, or anti-LGBT. How is that a bad thing?
Then maybe don't say racist shït? I mean, I say lots of things and haven't ever been accused of being racist. It's really not that hard.

Ironic. Comedians mostly lost their jobs during COVID. When we needed them the most.
thats what comedy is about: speaking about social issues but still making people laugh

Blue Hair Is Interesting
I'd say both are terrible. Commenting on one's look is always bad, alright. But shaming other people because they're more "mainstream" or less "quirky" than you is as bad, if not worse. There's nothing wrong with enjoying popular things and prefering neutral/basic style. Also, comments like "why can't you be interesting" are causing people to be ashamed of their hobbies and preferences. Enjoy popular literature. Dye your hair blonde without shame. Be yourself, you're great!

Yes indeed, I feel quite nauseous after this!

I was hoping someone would mention this! Those comics really irritate me. It's like they're blowing up issues that don't even exist & it feels like the artist sits in a room all day trying to appeal to his audience of edgelords.

Now I've noticed that the BP site is now doing the same thing, (start a thread with 100 entries and Later it gets cut to 50 or 30? Why does this happen and can it be fixed? Anyone else notice this too??
I noticed that as well, don't really know why.

I dont get the hate for all these posts. They just seem like shower thought style posts.
Maybe it's the time of day, but I noticed as well.
