With more than 8 million species of living things on Earth, it is no wonder that nobody knows or has seen them all. And if you wanted to look at 8 million pictures of all the cool animals roaming the Earth, it would take around eight years to spend 30 seconds for each photo and do it non-stop, without any breaks for eating or sleeping.
And with scientists discovering new rare animal species almost every day, this operation sounds quite unrealistic. That’s why we’ve chosen the most curious and weirdest animals, so you won't have to spend a decade checking them out yourself.
We’ve included land and sea animals, mammals and reptiles, and even bugs, so you’d see many unique animals. A mammal that looks like a crossbreed between a zebra, a giraffe, and a moose? Sure, that’s an okapi! A fish that takes the shape of a blob?
Of course, it even has a very appropriate name - blobfish! A weird-looking animal called a thorny devil? Why, yes! After seeing these unusual animals, you’ll be amazed that these sometimes very unsightly beings inhabit the same planet as us!

I wonder what the evolutionary advantage was for the transparent head? Easier to perform brain surgery on...
You see,I dont like these fish because you can see inside their heads...
amazing, do you know that unusual with a transparent, fluid-filled dome on its head used for ?
They say that it used to be illegal for haberdasher's to reveal the size of men's heads because people believed a big head meant high intelligence (I have big, lunking head - so I know this to be an accurate means of determining smarts). Imagine if you could actually see somebody's brain! Convenient.

I don’t support hunting cause it’s mean and brutal yeah it’s for survival but I don’t think killing is always the answer
I was raised in Louisiana where everyone hunts, but my dad who is a huge animal lover always taught me to never, ever hunt just for sport. If we hunt and kill an animal, then we will eat it. After all, God says to do so in the Bible, but we are also to take care of them so no torture (make death quick and as painless as able) and no killing for human amusement. That's how I was raised. Everyone is different though so I respect your outlook on it also.
