30 ‘Starter Packs’ That Personally Attack Pretty Much Everyone You Know (New Pics)
Starter packs (sometimes also called starter kits) is a meme that's been around for nearly a decade.
It usually comes in a multi-panel photo set, illustrating the archetype of a celebrity, company, or subculture through their clothing choices and other consumer products, very similar to the classic "steal her look" fashion guides.
One of the reasons why the meme is still going strong is the subreddit of the same name. With 2.5 million members and thousands online at any given moment, there's a constant stream of new content.

From 'things I thought were huge problems when I was a kid' to 'me cooking anything', the amount of themes you can see on r/StarterPacks is amazing. However, niche posts usually don't get that many upvotes. "More relatable topics tend to get more likes as people can say 'Hey! That's me!'" the moderators of the subreddit told Bored Panda in a previous interview.
2020 has been a really good year for the community—the subreddit has grown by about 500k new members, and the moderators hoped it would reach 2 million in 2021 but it has surpassed that mark by an additional 500k!
"The Covid-19 Pandemic had a lot of people stuck at home and on Reddit. People wanting to look at memes about their current situation could be a major contributor [to r/StarterPacks popularity]," the moderators explained.

The starter pack meme really took off in 2014 when Twitter user ItsLadinaPlis posted the 'I date black guys' version of it.
According to one moderator of the sub, WaddlesJP13, that single post spawned a bunch of other starter packs, basically turning it into a household meme instantly, and leading to the creation of many forums and pages dedicated to the format, just like r/StarterPacks. "Somehow, the format [and the subreddit are] still really popular," they wrote. Pretty good for a meme!

Being a girl who's played games since the early 90s I can tell you that's so very true. Not all gamers are like that of course in fact the majority isn't. But the ones who complain about not having a "gamer gf" definitely are. They're usually the same ones who whine and shout when a 33 year old woman beats them.

Food That Never Tastes Quite Right When You Make It At Home Starterpack
Home made tastes different because you usually go lighter on the salt and sugar. Commercial just wants it to taste good so they are naturally more heavy handed.
I like my homemade smoothies/sherbet. But donuts? Who makes those at home? I've done it and it's not worth the bother.
I agree that they taste different but honestly I like my homemade chili better than one I get at a restaurant or canned.
Homemade chili is almost always better. A chili cook off where I get to taste every one is my heaven.
Load More Replies...The very berry smoothie is really not that had. Frozen raspberries, some fresh or frozen blueberries, and some milk. I personally prefer soymilk, as dairy can overshadow the taste of the berries. Blend it and experiment a little with the right relations. And the good thing? You can just keep exploring. Take almond or oat milk for a side-taste; use vanilla for a flavour twist, etc.
Add a drop or two (MAX) of vanilla because it just makes it taste perfect somehow. I’m so committed to vanilla, that I actually fork out the big bucks for real vanilla rather than the very cheap vanillin.

Salads….love them at restaurants but rarely order because why order a salad when I can make one at home. Make one at home…meh. It’s a vicious cycle.
My donuts were as good as commercial. My crullers are better. Who can't make a milkshake?
That's because you're using different ingredients than those available to restaurants. Best food I've ever had was at an Amish market.
Romaine with about 1/4-1/2 arugula for the perkiness, fresh tangerines, slivered almonds, a dash of poppyseed dressing. YUMMMMM!

Most of the nice coffee shops use 15K+ espresso machines ( like La Marzocco) and nice coffee beans.
