A recent trend on Twitter got artists all hyped up to share their artwork. The challenge 'Sketch vs. Final' asks the artists to share what their artwork looks like when it's first sketched out and when it's all finished and rendered.

The difference between the two is quite shocking and you start appreciating the work artists do even more. Some of the sketches look like a mess, and you can't even tell what they are—however, after some hard work, they end up looking beautiful and breathtaking.

Artists have proven over and over again that they have amazing skills we mortals can only dream of. This thread takes it to another level by showing us something so simple and sketchy coming to life as amazingly detailed illustrations, drawings, or digital art. No matter what the medium is, it requires lots of time, practice, and work to get this good. So it's great that users on Twitter are sharing their skills; perhaps they will inspire some that are just starting out.

Twitter is full of challenges and cool art and Bored Panda has made many articles about the viral themes on the website. Here is a thread about the hilarious ways Amazon hides packages when they deliver them. This Twitter account showed what Lord of the Rings characters would look like if they were dogs and, of course, a post about cats looking like complete bosses. Hopefully, these posts will lighten your mood or even give you a few laughs.

Sketch vs. Final Artwork

There are so many artists here on Bored Panda. Here are some of the very talented artists on Bored Panda. French artist Andry "Shango" Rajoelina creates adorable illustrations of famous characters from pop culture as families, this makeup artist transforms herself into almost anyone and anything, and here is some impressive black and gray realism tattoo work by Mr.T Stucklife. There are many artists here to inspire and save you from boredom.

So, what do you think of these artworks? Would you like to participate and show off your skills? Tell us in the comments below and don't forget to go follow the artists you like on their social media and like their work. It's very important to support artists out there. Perhaps even order a commission for a special occasion or to just hang it up on a wall to make your home that much special.

I used to love these sort of pictures as a kid! There is so much going on it would take about as long to look at it as the artist took to make it.

I always love artists sketches. So full of life showing the artist's thought process in creating the piece. All the possibilities still in play. Thanks for this one - very exciting.
