Artist Tries To Raise Awareness About Animal Abuse With These 33 Uncomfortable Illustrations
Interview With Artist
This artist by the name of milkdongcomics on Instagram creates illustrations. However, those illustrations are not simply art. They have a heavy message behind them—animal abuse. Many of us don't even think about all the ways animals are being mistreated by humanity. So this artist created a project called "Murder Scene" to shock us back to reality.
The art may be uncomfortable for many people, but it's the sad reality of many critters in this world. Perhaps this art will make us rethink our actions and create a world safe for animals. Many organizations are already working towards that. Consider donating to shelters and institutions working to save animals and give them a better life.

Animal abuse is common all over the world. Research shows that animal abuse strongly connects with abuse against people. The most common animals abused are pets, like cats, dogs, and farm animals.
We asked the artist what inspired him to create these illustrations: "I love nature. All of the creatures on the earth are beautiful! Unfortunately, many of them are endangered, therefore, I created a collection of drawings with messages about animal cruelty. The name of the series is "HEY HUMAN, SEE WHAT YOU DO!?" I wanna convey the message to more people through my art, attract more people to raise awareness about the endangered creatures. This is a serious issue!"

There are many forms animal abuse takes: from hoarding too many animals, breeding them incorrectly, to slaughtering them for fur, horns, and teeth, to even organizing fights and pitting animals against one another. Many would argue that there aren't enough laws to help prevent animal abuse; usually, people responsible for mistreating animals are not persecuted.
The artist shared what inspired him to touch upon such heavy topics: "The natural ecosystem is closely linked with humans, so I wanna try my best to do something for animals, the next-generation, and the earth!"

There are many discussions about testing drugs, makeup, and other products on animals. Many companies are going the cruelty-free route—however, many believe it's necessary to ensure the safety of the product.
Humans and animals have been inseparable from one another from the very beginning. Animals are a very important part of our lives, not to mention our planet. So please be considerate and report any animal abuse you see, donate, and help this world become a safer place for them.
"The most important message is when the buying stops the killing can too. Humans must wonder what is their needs, they should able to distinguishing between wants and needs. Desire is not essential. Just think about it before you buy, eat and use!"
Milk Dong Comics shared what he does in life: "I enjoy swimming in the ocean, walking in nature with my lovely doggies. Creating art is my job, Hong Kong is a society under commercial pressure and it is hard to survive in it. I had been employed in different industries for livelihood. For example designer, visual merchandiser, art teacher, sales, customer service, ware-houseman, restaurant waiter, fishmonger, coolie, and many more. However, even after all of it I never give up on art!"

Not only feral cats are poisoned... a friend of mine had 3 of their cats poisoned by some neighbourhood psycho. Not sure if the perpetrator was ever caught since my friend moved soon after... but if that ever happened in my neighbourhood I would do some thorough investigating and God help the person when I find them.

It's one of the reasons my cats have been raised as indoor cats. I live near a busy road, that's the main reason. But these days people are so f****d up!! A town 6 miles from me had a cat caught in an old gin trap last week (illegal in UK since 1950s). Poisonings & shooting with BB guns and even beheadings I've heard of. One of my cats is so loving & trusting I dread to think what people would do to him. My babies are much safer protected and surrounded only by those who love and care for them.

You are following G-d's directive in the Torah or The Old Testament when He directs the First Man to have dominion over the animals. Most people think "dominion" means "to dominate". What it means it to care for, keep safe and treat humanely. So, by keeping your cats inside you are giving them the best life possible. You are a blessing to your pets as they are to you.

The building next to us used to me an auto shop that my dad worked at so our cat always went over there, the boss retired and sold the property. My dad told these people to not set out rat poison because she goes over there but they did it anyways and she died.

We are jerks - collectively, we do not take care of our animals. - It takes a long time for feral/stray cats to trust humans, it took mine almost 10 years to truly trust me, after that, she was all over me. Here's the thing with that... Humans brought cats to Australia and let them loose in an environment where the wildlife was not evolutionarily adapted to such a predator. I would rather protect hundreds of species from threat of extinction due to a human-introduced pest. It's similar to how the evolutionary balance was upset here in North America. Elimination of wolves from the landscape radically altered the flora and fauna of the region, overabundance of prey animals, and their feeding habits have caused far more problems than the wolves ever did.

if someone hurt one of my girls I think I could get to violence, heavy. but in general, I think that who poisons an animal is a coward without balls, who unleashes himself on who is weak and cannot defend himself, since in everyday life he does not have the backbone to assert himself.

Perhaps cat owners should keep their cats indoors. I've seen several cats be killed because they were harassing pet birds. This maybe more on farel cats but domestic cats that are let out to roam dont help the problem. Did many places switch to catch/castrate/release method?

It all happens where a dog from Thailand accidentally boarded a cargo ship en route to Hong Kong. Their Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department euthanized the dog with the reason that it came from area with rabies outbreak.

Our general approach towards other animals is f****d up, self-centered, self-justifying. Begins with the lie that humans were something substantially different from other animals ... utter nonsense that is! It always is a good idea to take the side of the helpless, the powerless, the suffering - the lame excuses for the many excessive abuses of animals and the pseudo-offended rage with which it usually is yelled around are just the lowest sentiment a human is capable of, paired with inappropriate cinfidence in themselves and their wicked actions. No wonder many people prefer cats, dogs, rats, mice, birds, horses over humans. Humans suck. F**k'em.

LET THEM HAVE THE SINPLE LIFE THEY AND WE HAD. In Asia, I think, elephants are ridden in parades and tied up with rope at the end. The sad part is, when they are babies, they have a chain tied around there ankle. Eventually, they realize there is no escape, and when they grow up, the thin rope acts like the chain. It really is sad. Also, dairy farms. Stop being selfish jerks and give the baby cows their mother's. And why do people chop off dogs' tails? It does nothing to you. Imagine chopping off your leg. Do you want that to happen? I sure hope not.

Our great grandchildren will tear down the statues we make today because of the ways in which people today treat animals. We are no better than our ancestors.

Humans are Omnivores! Just look at our teeth! Not that it's bad to be Vegetarian/Vegan. I just want the senseless violence to stop.

Animal testing is used ecessively. If we accept for the moment that it can't be replaced in total by now, the amount and the potentially found evidence for whatever still not always come into an acceptable proportion. Research towards animal-free testing could use a better funding for sure, and a closer look when this stuff is getting permission (you can't just do that when and how you like, but must, pro forma, show why you need to ... in many countries) would certainly reduce the amount of it - but there is money in it, money when selling the animals also as money when conducting the experiment for another company - and the stuff found out this way often is way overrated ... sometimes its only effect is combining a drug with a minor effective substance like caffein or so to get new patents - this is a system full of exceptions and holes and excuses. If it wree only for real medical progress, we'd need way less. Most are abused.
