When I was a kid I'd practice my Spock look in the mirror. I also use to be able to wiggle my ears and I don't mean a little. I could c**k one or both ears forward and could get them to move back and forth quite a bit but can barely get them to move now. (Difference between being a kid and almost 60.)

And with few exceptions, it's just one eyebrow that they can raise.

I doubt it's just 30 %. A lot of my friends can do it, and I actually learned to do it by holding down one eyebrow and pulling up the other (with facial muscles, of course) and once I had finished figuring out the muscle-movement, I could do it (and still can) without my fingers.

I can raise both of mine one at a time like a teeter totter. When I was a child I had a huge crush on Lee Majors & taugbt myself to raise my eyebrow like him.

I didn't used to be able to do this and my cousin could. He teased and taunted me as only a bratty cousin could. (We were around 9-10yrs old) At the time our families would have a joint weekly roast dinner. One week I was determined to make him eat his words the following Sunday, so starting Monday I spent a few hours each day I'm front of a mirror, practicing my arch. Stg, by Thursday I had it down pat! Point being, you can apparently learn the skill

And you can train yourself to do it rather easily. Just hold down one and lift the other. Repeat and repeat until your muscles can do it without holding down one side. Muscle memory. I can still do it 35 years after teaching myself.
