Whatever they wear, they always sound so amazing...also...Women in the Mormon Tabernacle choir often get put down for the dresses they have to wear. The men can be any size, shape, any level of baldness, any level of conventional attractiveness and put them in a well tailored suit or tux and they immediately look dignified and put together and professional. It's much more difficult for a group of women to all have to wear the same thing and have the same kind of visual impact that men get when wearing a dark suit. All women in the Mormon church (and in lots of other places at least in the USA, including federal government) of any level of leadership get judged based on their appearances and clothing in a way the men never do in their various dark suits and ties.
