Men have breasts too. They’re located in the breast area of their torso, which is the same area they’re located in on women’s torsos. Can’t really change the name to something like chest cancer, because it wouldn’t be specific enough to avoid confusion (for example, lung cancer is also a chest cancer). It’s breast cancer, guys. It can happen to you too. So just get TF over it already.

That does suck. Yes, men can get breastcancer, luckily very rare, whilst it is about 1 in 9 woman , who gets breastcancer . Remember, early detection makes it more likely to be completely cureable. Also, quite a number of men have gynaecomastia ( developed lactation glandular tissue, looks like pre-teen breasts. Easily operated if a problem) .

So, I mean, I can understand that some women feel they need a safe space to discuss their attachment to their sexual identities surrounding their breasts, but really, the broader the spectrum of people in a support group, the more enlightening and easier it would be to let those beliefs go.

The inner workings of a man's breast is identical to a woman's, milk ducts and all. With the right levels of hormones a man can produce milk. So of course they can get breast cancer just like women.

I get both sides of this, a woman losing a boob is different to a guy having a lump removed and maybe a nipple taken off, I feel for him and he should've been allowed really but I do get it.
