This is so my daughter,she loves her pumpkins,fall, and Halloween. She's been buying new stuff, adding to her collection for a month now. Same every year. Every year it looks like Reagan from The Exorcist projectile vomits Fall and Halloween all over her house. Much bigger than Christmas 😁

Canned soup ? Yuck !

I was born an American and can soups gross me out.

I quit fast food and processed food about a decade ago. Trust me when I say that canned soup tastes mostly like salt, fat, and sugar. Heated up. It is gross.

Am Russian, totally agree with your students. No heat's gonna stop us from enjoying a piping hot bowl of borscht, nor a chilly -30°C day is a good enough reason to skip on a refreshing okroshka (except for those who hate it, seriously, that stuff's not for everyone)!

Soup isn't really seasonal in the US, Samantha, but we tend to eat more soup in Autumn due to dropping temperatures. Also, we make soup from scratch with fresh ingredients from our gardens that are ready for harvest. One of my favorite things about the season. Of course, you can make soup year round with soup starter and store-bought veggies, but nothing beats soup made with veggies straight from the ground. Canned soup is nasty, and you can get nearly a whole day's sodium from one can. Home made soup - even from starter and store veggies - is much more healthy, completely customizeable and very easy to do.

Borscht! Although that may be Ukrainian, but this made me think of that amazing soup I enjoy year round.

It's really only seasonal because most of us don't want soup when it's +90 deg. F (32C).

It’s not seasonal at all. And canned soup is great as long as you get the right kind and haven’t stupid thought that cream of chicken is actually soup.

Yep, I have a pair that I wear when I'm going to be getting into water (kayaking, or canoeing), because you can zip off the legs, and the shorts part dries very quickly.

I love the changes too but what changes nowadays? I feel that there are no seasons anymore! We go from extreme heat to cold and don't feel that we have autumns and springs

Ditto. After June, I think we went straight to fall. It's been cold, rainy and very windy at times. Although, we had some kind of an Indian Summer a week ago for a few days, but that's about it.

I'll see your 3 weeks and raise you 3 days. My turtles love it, I do not.
