Not in the US, they wouldn't. Fame is literally a 'get out of jail free' card. Just look at who's in the White House.

not really, in other cases, the podcasters/documentary makers, bc they invested so much into a narrative they will go all out against anyone who can hurt their so called reputation. People have been destroyed bc of that in the past.

In America only the criminals have rights. The victims have none. And far too many people believe anything they see on TV over the facts.
