People Are Cracking Up At These 30 Funniest “Proof Of Delivery” Pics Shared By People Online
Being able to order various things online and get them delivered helps to save a lot of time. Especially being able to order some good food after a long and hard day. During the pandemic, getting things and food this way became even more convenient as people didn’t have to go anywhere and encounter others. Because of this, delivery services presented another clever solution - no-contact delivery. It was followed by a requirement by many delivery companies to take a picture of the delivery once it was brought next to a customer’s place.
This necessary step accidentally inspired a thread where people started sharing hilarious pictures taken by drivers of them picking up their delivery.
Which one of these do you find the most hilarious? Have you ever had your picture taken by a food delivery driver? Don’t forget to leave your thoughts in the comments down below!

Omggg I Can’t Believe Door Dash Uploaded This Photo Of Me Getting My Food
Hahaha au contraire, she looks like she made quite an effort for the Door Dash photo :)
Had time to dress up, get a glass of wine, put on heels and makeup, but not make her bed!
If you’re curious to find out why it is necessary for drivers to take pictures once they are about to deliver you the food, there are two reasons for that. First of all, they need to confirm it with you that they delivered the food to the right place and the right person. Sometimes food gets delivered when no one is home, or when trying to avoid contact with another person. This is also really helpful when a customer claims that they didn’t get their delivery or if the delivery was ruined or missing something.

Barely Got My Food In The Shot. This Man Just Wanted A Picture Of My Cat
I would also take a picture of that beautiful cat as well. Just don't tell my cat 🤫
I Ordered Instacart Like A Year And A Half Ago And The Driver Got Me Looking Like An Absolute Goblin
Goblin. Ha ha ha. No need for that dear. The only thing you look like is surprised.
You don't look like a goblin you just look surprised that they were taking your picture!
Well...she looks better than I would on many occasions. But if the shoe fits...what can I say?
Knowing that we live in a world where a lot of information about us is stored, one might ask whether it is okay to take someone’s picture without permission. Users of Reddit had a whole discussion about this when a user @warwm asked others online: “Do delivery guys have to take a pic of the customer grabbing the food?”. The user found this quite unusual, so a lot of people started sharing their own experience as customers and those who deliver the food.

What the actual f**k? Who does this? Did they also pee on the side?
I’d be shocked if no one inside called in a potential bomb threat on this...
This is what happens when you don't add any delivery details other than the address and don't answer the phone or messages when the driver tries to reach you. I have left several orders at the front door of 30 floor buildings because of this 😂
This sort of thing also happens when you provide very detailed instructions, answer their call and confirm the instructions, and they just can't be bothered to follow them.

My dog is always the first one to the door...especially after we ordered so much DoorDash during lockdown, and he was trained to think the doorbell ringing meant FOOD!

Theyre like "Oh thank you that's mine. No, no, no don't worry about my human this is for me."
This Surprised Me When I Delivered The Order Lol
"If we don't dine in, do we still get the complimentary bread?" -the ducks, probably
Well, at least we know it isn’t duck soup... (or Duck Soup for all of you Marx Bros fans).
It was mentioned that even when a delivery person takes someone’s picture, they usually do it by accident when a person suddenly opens the door or is even already waiting for the delivery. It was also stated that in a case when you are in the shot, this picture is not saved in the phone but rather is just in the app, sent to the customer, so they would know that their food was brought to the right person.
Some people working in this industry revealed that they sometimes don’t take the picture as proof if they bring the delivery straight into the person’s arms or see how they take it. Some users find it risky as you never know if that was the right person or if later they won’t blame you for not delivering their food.
I Still Do Not Understand…
I think she's trying not to spill the contents that are in the bag. If she opens the door all the way, the door will sweep the bag over.

Yeah. I've been blocked in before too. Sometimes they just deliver and don't think
Delivery drivers fault... Put it so close to the door, the door couldn't be opened without toppling the food. Especially awful if there's soup in there.
Ikr and they had the gall to take a pic rather than help.

Pretty Much...
She clearly has a sense of style...the porch, the door, her outfit. I bet she’d be fun to hang out with!
Load More Replies...i dont get any these 1) why are they funny? 2) why there are pictures in the first place? the delivery person takes a picture of the client and then proceeds to send said pic to the client? why tthough?
They take pics of porch deliveries now to prove it was delivered. I don't know why they take/upload it if they see the person take the food unless they're absolutely required to. Or why people can't even wait 30 secs until the driver is gone. I like the animal ones, though.

But why nobody follows the rules anymore? GO AWAY IF YOU FORGOT THE WINE!
I think it's a running blade, i.e. a leg prosthetic. Also, it's a rude thing to ask.

If I had to guess, I'd say the dude in the photo is the customer and it looks like the food was left REALLY far from the door (ie near the curb which could be 20-40 feet ( about 7 to 12 meters) from the door). He doesn't look too happy.
Load More Replies...Petra Pan, he does not seem violent, he looks like a funny TikToker. Hear me out he does
They left their food in the street? I dunno 'bout the 'suing' part tho. Small claims court? =P

Omg This Reminds Me Of The Time A Small Child Was Sent To Deliver My Food And I Was Smacked And Unshowered And Not Ready
Pym wearing giant strap on to give impression of bigger d**k 🤣
Load More Replies...I'm guessing they're sending their kid to the door for a better cash tip.
Or lack of childcare. The kid sits in the car all day, as mom or dad drives deliveries. The kid gets bored and starts helping. When I was a kid and there wasn't anyone available to watch my sister and I, we would go to work with mom at the hospital. There's only so much homework to do before we started changing sheets and emptying bed pans.

They could be crocs. Crocs makes a variety of styles; clogs, sneakers, sandals, boots, slides, etc. My daughter has sandals very similar to that style, that are crocs.
Load More Replies...Surprisingly, Crocs have a lot of different styles. If you look at their site, you'll find a bunch of different shoes and sandals they make. I know it's super easy to just associate them with their signature shoe but I promise they make so much more! Definitely check it out. It's neat to see

Why Did The Doordasher Take A Pic Of Me Like This When I Got My Food
ecause people will say they never got the delivery.....so sad isn't it?
Nothing embarrassing about this pic. You look pensive, and you're photogenic. I am not. 😔
I’m guessing they’re required to take photos as proof of delivery and you just happened to walk into the shot
Georgina.. You're such a negative person. Second time I've seen you comment on something that has nothing to do with the picture. Get a Damn life.

Ha not tying to troll but the first thing I thought about was how I didn’t like the doormat 😂. No disrespect, all love in how we’re different!
Load More Replies...I don't really get this. The picture isn't proof that your food was delivered in most of these. It proves that for a moment it was at your door. After that picture is taken the dasher could just take to food with them, or they leave it and someone else comes along and grabs it, or an animal.... It's like when Amazon leaves a package at an apartment door. I walk by about three a week in my hallway and I think "I could take that or that or that...".
Yeah these photos are kind of pointless except when you are on the photo! I think the best solution is to do what they do in any other country! They give you your package on your hands and that's it
Load More Replies...I am so confused, how is this supposed to be funny? The ones with cats are cute but idk
Prob funny/embarassing for the people in them because they are caught unexpectedly on camera and usually in loungewear, no make up looking disheveled...relatable if its happened to you perhaps? Animals are always funnier than people!
Load More Replies...These are not that interesting, it's just random people receiving food.
I happened to walk up to my place as an Amazon driver was dropping off a package. I went to pick it up as I greeted him and he told me to wait, he had to send a pic to prove delivery. I asked if he'd like me to pose with it and he laughed as he snapped the shot without me. Now I'm a little lowkey sad.
Cheap. Convenient. Easy decision when you don't care to decide on a list of fast food places. McDonald's is so deeply rooted that it's pretty much the default option when you kind of don't care. Lazy option, I guess? Very detailed reply for no reason lol
Load More Replies...I have never had food delivered. It is all very well taking photos, but what if it is the wrong address? I recently had food delivered and left outside my house meant for the house across the road. Without the number of the house in shot, the photo doesn't mean much other than it was left in some random location.
This is exactly why I peek out of a bedroom window until I see the car drive away before retrieving my food. Of course, I also do this to avoid neighbors, so maybe it's just me.
Haha okay so, I don't know about other delivery apps but I know Doordash does have an option to press if the order is handed to the customer so they don't have to take a photo like most in this article. I only did this once, on my very first order, before I knew about the second button.
