Years ago, I had this great opportunity thanks to my best friend Arnaud to take part as a photographer in a humanitarian project in Burkina Faso.
As an art photographer and portrait lover, I naturally took this chance to get on this memorable journey in the quest of knowing more about the daily life of people in this part of Africa. It's been such a wonderful journey! I’ve been amazed by the great warmness, creativity, and kindness of each and every one of them. They all opened their heart with such truth to my camera. This is my selection of their best shots!

I was playing with my daughter in a creek in a National Forest and a group of Indians came along. One asked me about snakes - we talked briefly about possible dangers. I noticed one of his group taking pictures of my daughter and I, thought "This is what it's like when some foreign tourist shows up photographing people so they can go home and show off their pics of 'the natives'."
This was a lovely set of images! I coincidentally watched a doco last night following several west African women who sell vegetables in the markets to earn money, it was surprisingly pleasant and not what I normally get to see re:reports/information on African countries. This series of photographs felt very similar, it was a comfortable nice feeling, I love the positive perspective you have captured (and annoyed at bored panda's title change!) Thanks for sharing your work :)
Thank you so much for your nice comment Lauren, i appreciate it! that's my greatest joy if some of my photographs can share and spread some positivity and inspiration! Regarding the title, yes i do hope that Bored Panda will make the necessary to repair that! I have to admit that i feel a bit bad at this very moment where my title was totally modified by their team and i have no power to change that except to erase integrally my post if they don't comeback to me. That kind of problems never happened to me before in any magazines or online medias till this post on Bored Panda! :( Thanks again for the appreciation and the support
