People Are Now Making Clothes Out Of 99-Cent IKEA Bags, And They Look More In The $23 Range
Recently we wrote about IKEA's hilarious response to Balenciaga's $2,145 version of their iconic 99 cents Frakta bag. But Balenciaga isn't the only one who repurposed, reused, and re-created the iconic waterproof material bag, and now there's a new trend of turning them into DIY clothes and accessories.
The whole population of the Internet seems to be jumping on the idea of turning the furniture giant's famous blue bag into must-have fashion accessories and unique clothing. From face masks and baseball caps to backpacks and thongs (no, really), there seems to be no limit to what DIY projects people can make with IKEA's polypropylene tote bag. The whole idea is that a designer made a bag that looked just like the IKEA shopping tote for thousands of dollars. So people are designing things of their own with the IKEA bag.
