Rocking Chair And Cradle In One
They actually had these in the colonial days. This is just a remake of an old antique item that most people thought went "out of style"
The Rocking Chair And Cradle In One is definitely not a “new gadget” or a “recent parenting innovation.” This has been around for at least 200 years. I’m sure of that because the oldest one I ever saw was made in the early 1800s. Please explain why you included this one.
The rocking chair could do with a higher back. That way your shoulders are supported and you can lean your head back.
Baby Carrier Hoodie
A kangaroo and her Joey :o) (joey=baby kangaroo)
Load More Replies...aaahhh i swear to god and would burn in the fires of hell i had an idea like this in middle school someone made it lol
Bath Saver
Sealing the dam properly would probably take as much time as the bath itself. KISS
I think it's more about saving water than time.
Load More Replies...Owned one of these. Although it's a great concept, it doesn't work all that well in reality.
My kids would spend 100% of time in bath trying to get to the other side :D
I used a big tupperware storage container. Toys have a storage bin, and the tub returns to a storage container when the baby doesn't need it anymore.
You can also put a smallish laundry basket in the tub and put the kid in it. If you have trouble with the basket floating, put some holes in the bottom.
Portable Baby Crib You Can Attach To Your Bed
The first one is for people who are not so smart/practical but have too much money. Like Kardashians and Paris hilton. And this one is for people who are practical and have a brain. :D
Load More Replies...I continue to think that the child must immediately have a perception of a space in which she has to sleep divided and separated from her parents bed, which possibly may be an occasional welcome. If you do not set up these basics right away you end up like my friends x and have a 12 year old boy who still wants to sleep with them.
Honestly I don't really get the whole co-sleeping thing I think it has something to do with bonding but I feel like it's putting the infant in danger no matter how many different techniques, I'm still gonna find it weird. I don't have any kids, nor do I want them so I guess it's a mute point
This is a great one. I always wanted my twins close by. Sometimes all a baby wants is the warmth & close contact from a loved one. God, I miss those days! They go by so quickly! Mine are almost 18 now.
Single Handle Extender
Hmm, the extender is $12 on amazon, but with the faucet attachment, it is $98
Booster Seat
Its definitely not a practical one. As I mention here to Sarah, the 'quick release' is too easy for the child to manipulate. AND, the seat is not wide enough to keep the little fellow from sliding off, once he/she has hit the 'quick release'. There are going to be a lot of lawsuits over this as little ones end up landing on their heads.
Load More Replies...Little guy hits the Quick Release and has eight or ten inches further to fall. Brilliant!
Im fairly sure it would be pretty stiff so babies couldn't just toddle free
Load More Replies...Cozy Cuddler Pregnancy Pillow
I'm not pregnant and I have that pillow and I Can tell you it's AWESOME.
Load More Replies...Someone once said that "When you're pregnant, there is no comfortable position". :D
This is true, but I sure could have used one of these pillows. Looks so much more comfortable than sticking a cushion between the knees.
Load More Replies...I wanted to buy one with my last kid but as its named "pregnancy" pillow it costs like if its made of gold ;)
I really really want want. Am I pregnant? No. Am I female? No. But I still really want one
Bikes That Double As Strollers
This is so unnecessary: just attach a bike seat to your bike. In the Netherlands we use these kind of seats: www.yepp.nl
This is very useful for some people. I've wanted one of these a long time. I don't drive and my bike is not bike seat compatible. (long story) I haven't the money for both a new bike and a bike seat. But if I save up enough I can afford one of these instead. Actually I'm looking at their 2.0 model which doesn't switch into a stroller but doubles as a storage container. For people with money this might be pointless.but for some people this can be a lifesaver. I've barely been able to go out for two years because I don't have access to a bike I can take my daughter on. I have to rely rides from my boyfriend on weekends to get things done. For certain people certain things are more helpful. Just because a product may seem stupid to one person doesn't mean it's not extremely useful to someone else. guess all I'm saying is don't judge so hard just because it wouldn't be useful to your lifestyle.
This thing is just horrible! I had one. It tips over in the corners.
It's ugly as sin but at least you are able to watch baby and it seems less bumpy for baby then the ones mounted on back of a reg bike
and its not innovative....until u want to look like an icecream seller....
This is important: this 3-wheeled bike is more safe for the mom with small baby, than usual 2-wheeled bike. And it may be more load-lifting (for the bag, for instance) .
Safety Bath Mat For Babies
that quite an endorsement. this is the first positive thing you've posted in this gallery.
Load More Replies...Super Compact Stroller
They wouldn't be allowed to sell it if it hadn't passed safety standards.
Load More Replies...i have this and its perfect... if you travel enough or you have a baby that gets tired easy thiw is your stroller
would love it because i take the bus everywhere.. but i take the bus everywhere and dont have enough for this
Do you still push the stroller when you get in the car?
Load More Replies...Baby Food Dispensing Spoon
if you are traveling in a car or something it might be hard to scoop from a jar while turned around in the seat...
Load More Replies...Filing is different but washing was easy it flips when you push your finger on the back
Load More Replies...You can flip it it's make of a rubber like silicon
Load More Replies...I don't want be party pooper, but when you use regular spoon, the child is learning how it is done => will be able to eat by himself sooner...
Baby Shower Cap
A bit off-topic, but - wow! That little fellow is a deep thinker already, contemplating about life....
He's thinking to himself "by the time I'm 12 years old this pic will still be viral online, oh s**t!"
Load More Replies...🤔 Awww, the little guy looks bummed out. The bathtime struggle is real, yo.
They've been around forever, mum used to use them on my sister and I and we are both in our 30's.
For the amount of hair on that head, a damp cloth would do the trick...just saying
Doodle Tablecloth
I first thought it was a great idea, but then I remembered how easy a penis is to draw.
Cute idea, but how do you teach little kids not to draw on the tablecloth when eating out if they are allowed to do it at home?
You could take it along on outings. Also parents should explain to the child that they are only allowed to color on this special tablecloth
Load More Replies...I covered our table with a big paper roll and set out crayons. The adults used it more than the kids!
Fun Plates
Yeah i would sit there and play with my food for hours, like i did anyway and got in trouble! The last one at the table, refusing to eat, while my sibs went outside to play...sucked!
Load More Replies...When I was little my grandma always told me "you do not play with food!" ... what a time to be little nowadays :-))
I have one. It's a bit of a creative struggle for me every time. There is not a lot of space to fit a complete meal on it. Nice idea though!
Bowl That Keeps Food From Falling Out
In many cases food AND container leave the table together. But the best solution is Discipline at an early age. ;D
Yes, have a deep philosophical discussion with your 9 month old....
Load More Replies...I've also had one of these, and it works. Stop being such grumpy bums.
Bath Pillow That Saves Space And Makes It Easy To Bathe Your Baby
I wonder where the 'pillow' is hung up to dry, so as not to get in the way with normal bathroom use?
And dries quickly i hooe and doesn't grow mold spots like most baby bath items.
Load More Replies...The Piggyback Rider Standing Child Carrier
This looks good for older kids that are too heavy or too tall to sit on my shoulders.
Those kids look like they re old enough to walk , run , play not be carried standing like disabled people
Maybe they need this to screw everybody at some concert or event.
Load More Replies...My daughter used to babysit a little girl about 10 years ago and she had one of these. It was not comfortable to wear.
As my parents would say - do those parents know the benefits of tired children? Just try to imagine daddy, fainting on the carpet after a long day out, while son still wants to play football at 9 pm...
Maybe to balance out all the c**p shown with only moms using it.
Load More Replies...Imagine the effort getting someone to help secure the little guy in the harness , and then undoing it when this gets tiring? Its much simpler to have them sit on your shoulders while you secure them by their legs with your hands. And you can set them down in a few seconds. KISS!
Come on, this DOES look uncomfortable. Kids this size need to walk on their own 2 legs, they passed the age of strollers & piggyback rides.
Bed For New Parents
Such a great idea for all the millions of young couples who have such huge bedrooms.
So huge bedrooms that it did not work for a half-decent photoshop, as it seems. What a creepy picture!
Load More Replies...This is great...It looks like the baby stayed safe when the steamroller crashed through the bedroom and flattened the parents.
Paying for that ridiculous bed clearly left the parents depleted. They are almost two dimensional, now.
Oh Rocking Furniture Multi-Functional Furniture
Love the middle pic of the guy. That's totally one way to use it.
The one of the woman lying down doesn't actually look very comfortable...
Pin Pres Children’s Shelf
Yeah " here kid, run at the side of this whilst pushing all the shelf stuff on the other side on to the floor
Looks very nice, but i have children and i can clearly imagine what would happen next... Things falling down and crashing on the floor are sooooo funny, aren't they?
Just a toy, very large, probably would never be used as shelving but might serve to hang clothes.
Crib Which Simulates The Feeling Of Being In A Car And Helps A Baby Fall Asleep
This is by Ford. Sadly, as of at least last month, this was just a spec invention. I think they only made one and dont intend to manufacture them (although i hope that changes!)
As many hours as I spent driving around at night trying to get my little one to fall asleep I can definitely see a use for this
Load More Replies...this wouldnt work for my babies...they hardly ever fall asleep in the car
Doona Infant Car Seat & Base
That's pretty neat... but you could only use it like 6 months max before your kid outgrew it.
It actually has a larger max size than most infant carriers. I used mine for my daughter until she was nearly 20months old. It is still my favorite purchase. Now I pregnant again so it gets another several months of use.
Load More Replies...How heavy is this thing? I always feel sorry for the young mom toting a baby IN a huge carrier. We used to just carry our babies in our arms--close contact is good for kids and once the kid gets too heavy he is probably ready to walk.
Just as light as other carriers but you don't have to carry it. You just lift it in and out of the car.
Load More Replies...Baby Carrier
NEVER carry your baby laying. Always sitting. Never put something over his head & never carry them sitting face forwayd.
Yes very true, but face forward would work well when mom is sitting down holding a book reading to baby.
Load More Replies...I don't like how this product is marketing this stupid idea that women should hide themselves and the baby's face while breastfeeding.
Not every woman is comfortable being uncovered.
Load More Replies...Triple Rocking Chair
Finally! A chair in which everyone can be uncomfortable at the same time!
the middle kid's like "help me" the longer you look at her the funner it gets
A piece of ugly, uncomfortable furniture for your ugly, uncomfortable family.
Silicone Roll Up Bib That Catches All The Leftovers
Some of these items are leading me to believe the designers do not have kids.
Load More Replies...it catches ALL the leftovers. ALL of them. Everywhere. ALL of the leftovers.
My nephew Has something like this. It's pretty epic and catches all the food he drops
this is the bib that i use for my babies...and its awesome. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80307223/
Baby Mop Onesie
No self-respecting mother is going to want to admit she keeps a filthy house. :D
She wont - not with her baby keeping the floor clean!
Load More Replies...I've said it before and I'll say it again, that thing is disgusting. How is it ok to use your baby to pick up dirt. Can you imagine the dust that poor kid is breathing in. YUCK!
Yes let your child crawl around on dirty floors, amongst the dust, animal hairs, and mud! surely nothing could Go wrong with that!
I wonder if this came out before or after that episode of Raising Hope.
Self-Heating Bottle That Warms Milk Itself In Minutes
They should make thermoses like this-also water bottles that cool water off
Kit For Structurally-sound Cardboard Forts
if you notice the first picture isn't in a kids room. probably cuz adults want it.... probably because i want it.....
Baby Stroller And Scooter Hybrid

Load More Replies...She got so excited about taking her baby out! Do you think she will notice she forgot to take it with her?
The baby rolled out a few blocks back, but who cares? I'm making great time on this thing!
Load More Replies...That looks so much fun! They should make one of these but for pets so I could take my dog for an easy, relaxing ride xD
Because high speed is most important when travelling with an infant...
Trying to figure out why people would downvote this...

Cute Little Hands Don't Belong In Diapers! Changing Diaper Clutch

Why pull away a toy? Doesn't it help them stay distracted?

100 Water Balloons In Less Than 1 Minute Set
use it last summer! easy to make... easy to make them exploded too... use almost 500 water ballon in only 15 min...
My friend has this one. Only downside is the balloons fill up at different times and you usually pop at least five in the process. But still a great way to fill up water balloons faster :)
No offense, but how many logical thinking parents are going to want to have all this ammunition, with so many potential targets , all in one place?
Or maybe it's for the kids who don't want to spend 25 minutes tying water balloons
Load More Replies...Infant Seat That Replicates Parents Natural Motions
Maybe the parent's actual motions would be better. Why have kids if you want to buy super expensive bulky stuff so that you don't have to be close to them?
Waste of Monday. My son hated it. Super expensive. He liked his 40$ Rock n Play a hundred times more than this stupid 200$ "Mama-Roo."
um, this is actually really awesome. i have one of these and it worked very good for both of my babies.
Load More Replies...Tiny Diner Portable Placemat

Tracking Guardian Bracelet That Shows Your Child's Location And Warns You When They Are Getting Too Far Away
That was the first thought that crossed my mind too! :-D
Load More Replies...If you have more than one kid in your care, you can get distracted. If one of the kids falls and starts crying, you will go to him immediately and you may loose track of the oher child for a couple of seconds. It is enough for smbd to take him or for him to run after a bird or smth and this bracelet can come in handy. Stop pretending you can watch your child for every second of every day. It is impossible. Parent needs to cook, poop and blink .It mean they dont love their child.
I need this. I have two runners, they run opposite directions and they are fast. Also, autistic. Some people don't understand the need but keeping a non verbal autistic child safe can get difficult.
All it takes is one second and your kid could be out of sight.its not going too far or a sick thing to do. Some kids are runners and when theyre very young or have disabilities they do not understand the danger in it. Have you ever took your kid to the park and been able to see your kid every single second? Especially if theyre other kids running around, they become a blur or theyre in and out of play equipment. What are you supposed to do walk/run behind them or hold their hand 24/7 until theyre old enough? I think this gives them a little freedom, safely. Even if i ever were to use something like this id constantly be watching my kid anyway because duh its my kid and im not an idiot.
I need it!! I have two runners and they are fast, they also run different directions. Also Autism :/
When I was a kid, I could go outside and play with other kids until dinner time without mum's invigilation. But times are different...
This is c**p! Could easily break. Whay they need is a semi-submerged surgically implanted iTracker attached to the Achilles tendon and runniing a nano optic fibre network up through the tendons molecular nervous system all through to the top of the 1st Cervical nerve at the base of the skull.
Lol! There are the same ppl commenting that complained about a child leash in 70's/80's ... SOME KIDS NEED THIS! Be glad if yours didn't!
Protector Seat Liner
It would be even better if they made it go onto the back of the seat so kids shoes wouldn't get it as dirty.
Illuminated Jetbib Feeding System
There's money to be made so no, imagination isn't allowed.
Load More Replies...Finding the big question required computer so complicated that it contained life. Answer is there to remind you that we are all part of solution.
The image of that baby being fed makes me cringe...no doubt he is under 6 months old 😞 you should wait until your baby can sit in a chair, then start feeding him solids. Why rush if he's not ready? Milk is enough until 6 months old (either breast milk or formula).
I got one of these for my nephew once. I scared him with my "landing airplane" noise, and he cried.
Lol. How to get your kid more interested in the spoon than the food!
I know I'm going to get a lot of hate , but why are you commenting the same thing on every alternate picture? Can we have something positive and not just boring "oh it's complicated and costly" stuff ?
Load More Replies...Clothes With A Built-in Activity Monitor
You can't prevent sudden death syndrome, that would indicate there are warning signs which there are not until they stop breathing (and there are apneo monitors for that) which would make it not sudden at all just death syndrome or as that is already known death
Load More Replies...Intelligent Thermometer Sticker
I don't like the feeling, that everything has to be under control, and also to connect something with your phone all the time. Yes, you will see illness faster, but I think it makes parents less care, in an unintentionally way. You watch your phone instead of your baby and this is clearly wrong to me.
Does that mean you are against technological remedies against Sudden infant death syndrome? I think that this sticker-app gadget is questionable; however, devices that help to detect serious health problems in infants do make sense given our changed way of life. I am not saying that this changes way of life is good in all means, and I am surely not advocating against a close children-parent relationship. However, control – if it not undermines trust or care – is a good thing!
Load More Replies...I like this. Not as all the time, but as if they're sick already, you'll know when you need to bring them to the doctors or hospital faster.
I find it all so overwhelming that I want to keep everything monitored, constant temperature, breath, weight, minute by minute, instant for instant. Children are children, and parents have to live their childhood quietly with no constant control anxiety. Let go of everything, relax and live well, or become suffocating and overprotective parents. And your children, in response, will become unresponsive, or will succumb to your fears and will not be able to face life.
Color Changing Nightlight With Portable Glowing Balls
Those are so bright and close to his face. I would lay them down on the other side of the room
True, I don't think they are good for his eyes if they are so close to him. Also, the average person would not sleep very well with all that light a few inches away.
Load More Replies...We bought this nightlight for fun for our sons room. It DOES NOT glow as bright as the picture shows when disconnected from the lamp.
Pacifier And A Teether All In One
yeah Crystal, did you have little siblings? have you ever seen a child? have you ever known anyone with a child? do you have a child? (if you do, then I feel bad for their pain because you are to dense to realize that teething hurts and having something to chew on helps!)

Load More Replies...Babywearing Jacket Twins Maternity
Just make sure you always put your least favorite in the back. Works with kids who aren't twins as well!!!
Load More Replies...It looks like you would boil in that with the weight of 2 children as well!
I wear my babies, sometimes in the front, sometimes the back. I've worn two kids at the same time (older one on back, younger on front). They are wrapped well. If they can't get out of the wrap, no way someone can pull them out. Also, if you wouldn't be able to break a fall, or have such bad balance that something like that would be an actual daily concern, then you probably shouldn't babywear, and maybe should sit down before holding anyone's baby. Babywearing is awesome and helps the parent bond. I love snuggling with my babies. I love that during outings they can see clearly and I don't have to take them out of a stroller to lift them up. I love that when they get tired they fall asleep on me. I love that the baby can breastfeed and I can still walk around.

Food-Holder Can Handle Sandwiches And More Without The Mess
Just in case you've never met a baby, let me explain to you how those little fingers are going to snatch that sandwich right out of there and squish it all between those precious little fingers.
why is everyone so concerned about children making mess, it's part of growing up and learning, if we continually remove all risk from our children's lives they will be unable to survive alone.
Smart Toothbrush
Oh my god, this is for sale too! I need this really bad. I such at brushing my teeth.
Right, why would YOU learn YOUR kid to brush properly, when you can BUY THEM some gadget to do it for you
Dinner Dj Dining Set
I wonder how this will make parenting easier? So your child playing DJ with its food, wooohoo, and you, parent, are the winner to clean up afterwards!
I would think this would be a fun plate to use as a reward or as a special thing. As a parent, I try not to remove all the fun things for my child because it's inconvenient for me. Sometimes, you need to stand in the rain for a few minutes and let your child stomp in a puddle. Not every time it rains, but a few times won't kill either of you and he gets a few special memories of being silly with his parent.
Load More Replies...Safety Bandage Knee Pad
Bad... They need to experience bumps and scrapes. It's how they learn. Not from being wrapped up in cotton wool.
I tried these with my first, because first time mommies are crazy... waste of money. Knees are designed to take bumps and scrapes.
Yup, Wrap their bodies in bubble wrap! That's how they learn everything about falling and moving around!
Did you know that baby's knees are super soft and made for both crawling and falling, the knee shell is soft so it doesn't break and it won't unless you have a special condition. Putting pads on them will not help them, intact it can get in the way of children learning these things at the right time.
Babies and toddlers do not need these. Their knee caps aren't fully developed until they are older (out of the crawling stage). Look it up!
....seriously, this is whats wrong with parents today, trying to "protect and baby" them too much. kids need to be able to fall to learn how to get back up. its not going to hurt them to fall on their knees every now and then.
Can't wrap a child up in cotton wool no matter how much the parent loves them, they need bumps and grazes for stronger bodies and better immune systems.
The hoodie is actually quite wonderful. Used one while carrying my kids.
#1 Rocking Chair And Cradle In One Is as old as the hills. You can see them in Medieval paintings.
All I learned from looking at these is how much of a negative nancy a lot of people can be. Don't like it, don't use it..very simple!
I believe that most of these inventions have forgot to factor in that babies/toddlers are prone to releasing flying projectiles...
Fast and loose with the term 'genius'. A couple of things here would be useful though.
