Motion capture doesn't have less quality. Animators still have to go through each frame to refine. It's simply a way to get realistic expression and movement, similar to how some drawn Disney movies used actors and even live sets to give animators realistic models to work off of. Clearly Pixar puts a lot of detail and effort into their animation. But saying that motion capture is of lesser quality is like saying that computer animation is of lesser quality compared to drawn animation, which is of course not true, they're simply different methods. Plus a movie is judged by more than its animation. Instead of recognizing this Pixar acts like a sore loser.
