I am an artist in Southern California who specializes in creating mosaics and I love what I get to do.
I like exploring different ideas and working on different substrates so I am always trying different things to express myself through this ancient art form. Here are just some of my favorite pieces to date.

I LOVE the sea life worked into this design... very subtle, but added to the stylized wave, it's incredible! I love turtles and tortoises, so any design featuring them is a huge hit with me.
Inspiration was view from an airplane of Ireland.
It is a wonderful country and one of my favorite places to visit!
Photo inspiration use by Larry Tenney.
Thank you fellow "Annie"! :)
Load More Replies...I sold it awhile ago but it was maybe 36" long..

I've never heard of steamed glass. These are just art pieces, right? I can't imagine risking this in the surf!
Ya that’s a typo. The folks on Bored Panda who edit these articles either did not correct or changed it to that. They also changed the title to a bit of a weird title. I’ve made more than 30 mosaics in my life so far. Been doing this since 2003.
Load More Replies...it's beautiful and i dont mean to be rude but when i saw this one i just thought " n e c k "
That's not rude...you could see my intention. Thank you!
That is rude, Elin. Are you 12?

I have an abstract one an artist friend made for me decades ago... it still gets lots of attention in my garden.
Mirror and stained glass on this upcycled surfboard.
Stained glass on glass portrait of my daughter.
Thank you..I wanted to play a little with this one.
Load More Replies...I am too young i genuinely thought harry potter for a good 10 seconds
It can be whoever you want it to be. ;)
Load More Replies...All smalti glass was used in this photo inspired piece.
Stained glass on upcyled wood.
That was the idea...thank you for seeing that! <3
Load More Replies...It is a watermark signature on the photo. Not on the piece.
Load More Replies...The colors are great. Where do you get your glass from? An do you ever use plastic to make a the artwork lighter? I make coffee tables, keepsake boxes, and end tables with inlays, but I'd love to try something like this, and epoxy the work to seal it; an keep everything smooth. P.S. love the artwork, and style. 😎👍
I purchase glass from a local stained glass supply store. I also have two instructional videos through “Mosaic Arts Online” which is the best and biggest collection of mosaic art instructional videos in the world. All professional artists and teachers from around the world..beginner to advanced instruction. https://mosaicartsonline.com/p/mosaic-on-stone-with-anne-marie-price https://mosaicartsonline.com/p/mosaic-a-surfboard-with-anne-marie-price I have made one mosaic with plastic I collected off the beach so it is very doable. Thank you so much! ♥️
Load More Replies...This is so incredible. I hobby in stained glass, but no nothing about mosiacs. I am thinking the cut/fit concept is the same, but so you have to grind the glass also?
You can use a glass grinder but you don’t have to. I only use one if I need to really have a smooth or rounded edge. Otherwise just practice and working at it will get the job done. ♥️
Load More Replies...Thank you! Absolutely. I encourage people to. lol I find people contact me through my Facebook and Instagram page a lot but you can also contact me at my website.. www.AnneMariePrice.com
Load More Replies...I have a huge box of porcelain shards I have been saving to do some sort of mosaic... and though I will never be this good, it might be fun to go ahead and use them... I've got nothing to lose but some time. This was a fun gallery. Nice work!
