Seeing that Glenn Homann is the recipient of every award in every division, I believe this could've been introduced honestly...incredibly beautiful photos! Too bad for the ruse. It really takes something away for me...

I love the idea of "rethinking your need for an expensive camera" when my DSLR + Lens cost £700 and a high end phone is over a grand.

I think if I was submitting a fancy photo for a prestigious contest I would give it a light-hearted name. For instance, I would call a sombre photo of a building “This is your brain on drugs, and these are dog turds on a griddle.” That would let everyone know I wasn’t taking myself too seriously.
