Homophobia is still well and alive amongst our society. Why it shouldn't be there are just too many reasons, which we are not going to explore this time. And while the internet can provide a platform to connect us, educate us, and mobilize us, it can also give people the opportunity to spread hateful views. Currently, there are 26 countries around the world that legally recognize same-sex marriage, and not everyone is happy about LGBT becoming a norm.
All across Twitter, Facebook, and even in text messages to family members, people have taken it upon themselves to profess their homophobic views. You can clearly see from these hateful texts, that broader vision and education is what these people need. Well, you can fight fire with fire, or you can take another route. They had to carry it with long poles, but that's what I learned in Sunday School as a child. Kinda hard to spell/word check if you can neither touch the vessel the tablets are in or are expecting oral rules set down many millennia ago and written down millennia after they started using them to have a passing resemblance to what God actually wants.
