50 Times People Noticed Such Ingenious Product Designs, They Just Had To Share Them With Everyone
Almost every product you can imagine arrives at a shop or your front door in some form of packaging (with additional layers added during transport and delivery).
The type and purpose of this container can vary tremendously, from a simple cloth bag to an elaborate gift box with laser-cut foam inlays.
However, if given enough thought, all of them can stand out from their competitors. And the subreddit r/PackagingDesign has proof. With 6.1k members, it's not the biggest community on the platform, but since its inception in 2013, among other types of content, these folks have shared plenty of examples of aesthetics blending perfectly with functionality. Here are some of the best ones.

Load More Replies...That's how our adorable packaging end up. If we , the customers were more conscious about our power, the world would Bea cleaner place. Instead we prefer to let thousands of animals dying every day .https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Pacific_garbage_patch
Load More Replies...Higher price per volume (-> more profit for the company) at the cost of way more waste that's ending up in the oceans.
Load More Replies...If I made olive oil as good as the Spaniards, hell yeah I'd market the hell outta this.
Mmmmm love olive oil on toasted bruschetta with parmesan cheese 😋👌
I'm not sure what the Spanish put olive oil on, but I assume this is like a ketchup packet or pat of butter for single serving.

Barila have replaced the plastic film bags with beautiful new plastic free cartons.
The first thing to point out is that this new carton format immediately creates a unique point of difference from what is a ‘bag heavy’ section. A great way to stand out from the competition.
This new, large canvas have given them the perfect opportunity to focus on simplicity and elegance, which they’ve done to great effect.
The retro design is a nod towards 60’s café culture and utilises simplistic, retro illustration to make up for the lack of window.
The whole design is beautifully balanced with oodles of negative space to draw the eye into the centre of the pack. A moment of calm on a very, very busy fixture,
Even the SRP nestles the on-pack communication, snuggly.
It’s a fantastic lesson in “less is more“. A simple clutter free approach will always grab consumers attention.

Can Anyone Point Me In The Direction Of Finding This Type Of Beverage Packaging?
My first factory job (1976) was in a box factory. We designed and manufactured hundreds of styles of packaging. Sadly, it went out of style and became obsolete, until the last 10 or so years. Now folks are "inventing" styles of packaging that we used 50 years ago. "What's old is new" I guess.
Reusable Coffee And Tea Filter Packaging I Developed For A Client
Pretty Clever
Stihl (Chainsaws etc) now use hay as stuffing when they send out products in cartons. Had my chainsaw delivered and the box was stuffed with hay, and a card asking how I like the filler material. I responded with "I love it, very eco friendly and compostable. But my horses love it even more, and will compost it for me."
Anyone remembers the gamecube ? It was its own packaging with its handle to bring to your friend's home it was neat
Man I loved that thing, it had the wildest games on it 😂
Load More Replies...Nice but I wish they'd concentrate on designing a package that wasn't embossed in bullet proof plastic and requires a chain saw to open.
This will change when people stop trying to steal products in siad packaging ... so I guess it will never change.
Load More Replies...THIS MAY BE MY MOST-FAVORITE BORED PANDA ARTICLE EVER!!! So amazing and forward thinking. It boosts my hopes for the world, actually. Thank you.
