@Tim McAdams, I'd liken myself to a human, just like you. However, I am unlike you, too. For example, I don't go around calling people 'brain-dead sheep' and saying that trained medical workers are dumb. I don't mind the 'brain-dead sheep' part but I do mind the 'medical professionals are dumb' part. NEVER SAY THAT AGAIN. There are people risking their lives to put an end to this goddamn pandemic. THEY ARE WORKING THEIR ASSES OFF. And do you know what they receive? Slander and insults, people saying this virus isn't real. These brave men and women are RISKING the lives of their families and themselves to get our sorry asses out of this situation. They are risking EVERYTHING to save other people's lives, not their own, and you sit here and insult them. I think one is more about white privileged and how the mainstream narrative says that's that everyone has equal opportunity to succeed if only they work hard enough but POC don't start out on an even footing and for the majority, they will NEVER be able to dig themselves out of the hole that was dug FOR THEM and their ancestors. We are taking generational oppression. And there's too many white people that are unwilling to grasp the simple concept that the American Dream demands not just hard work but also luck if you are a POC.

You missed the point, the bus, the plane, and the ship. That's not what this is about. It IS about the fact that certain ethicities don't have access to the same things that others do, aka baked in privilege.

Amen. It's only white people that are ever publicly insulted or excluded to otherwise okay to insult about their race. That's just a fact. You can lose your livelihood for a perceived slight against a POC (I hate that term) but it's pretty much open season on white people. The pathetic part is that my comment would be viewed as racist.
