Me too, we had a black cat and she was just the sweetest thing ever! Sadly, she died at just a year old. 😭

Same. My Jack is the sweetest cat ever. He was the runt and only boy in his litter, half the size of his sisters. He’s 15 lbs now, and no he doesn’t have a drop of MaineCoon or any large cat breed blood in him. He’s a cuddler, kisser, steady companion especially when I’m sick, totally laid back, except at feeding and treat times. Then he very reliably lets me know his tummy timer is going off. Not a mean bone in his body, never bitten or scratched anyone—-except when another cat if they just get on his last nerve, and even then it’s brief. And people try to say black cats are evil. They obviously never met a black cat, and definitely never met Jack.

I can completely relate. I lost one of my siamese[stray cat] a couple of years ago. He was so close to me that I used his ashes for a paw tattoo [my 1st tattoo in 55 years]. Even nowadays I can get wet eyes when looking at his photo's or thinking of him...........touching the tattoo gives a relief as he's still there

Same here. I often feel the familiar pressure from their bodies leaning against my back or on my legs when I’m sleeping. It’s so comforting. Sometimes I swear I see them out of the corner of my eye. Now, I’m pretty much of a realist, and prefer science over mysticism, so for me to say those things carries weight.
