If you clicked on this post based on the title, we are going to assume you are a cat person, and that you’ve come to the right place! With that being said, today we’d love to show the new illustrations of a Hungarian artist called Rita Vigovszky. Rita’s work mostly features her cats, which are one of the most popular pets. In times when a lot of people find comfort in pets and also connect with them on a deeper level, the artist uses her talent to explore the relationship between cats and their owners.

Rita illustrates her life with a cat, and perhaps some of these illustrations might remind you of familiar situations with your own pets. With that being said, if you’d love to see more of Vigovszky’s work on Bored Panda, then make sure to click here for part 1 of the illustrations!

Bored Panda reached out to the author of the comics, first, we asked about how the artist started making comics, and how the whole thing came about.

"I've always enjoyed these types of short webcomics, and unconsciously started to make my own ones way before I even started to share them with the public. They are a fun way to share your feelings with the world, and see how people find these feelings relatable."

We were also wondering what inspires Rita to make comics overall.

"Miyu (Rita's cat) has been and will be my muse, but I like to take inspiration from everywhere, from my own life principally, obviously, but I always try to make mental sketches and look for ideas for new comics. I have a lot of ideas I have yet to make, I just need more time for them!"

With all of that being said, we were wondering whether the artist was always making comics or if it was just something she started doing recently, and here's what she told us.

"Drawing has always been very important in my life, even since I was a little girl, and I started experimenting with digital drawings during my teenage years, but I had never thought until finishing college that making illlustration could be my career one day."

A lot of people enjoy the work Rita puts out, so we were curious about what it was like to have such a motivating audience.

"It's so, so rewarding. Especially when you feel like the world is burning with all of these horrible events going around, seeing a comment where someone says my comic made them laugh or I get a heartfelt feedback for one of my commissioned illustrations - that's what keeps you going. It's just a very nice feeling to know you might make someone's day a little bit better."

Because she gets to give kisses to all the small dogs in my small apt. complex. She was raised with a small dog, but when their owner died, they were separated. Her long time boyfriend, a long haired chihuahua just moved, and she is sad.

My cat isn't a fan of the leash, but he understands. He LOVES going outside, but he can't be trusted by himself so I'm THAT person who walks her cat on a leash. It's helped me get to know the neighbors and I also get fun looks from people driving by 😁

I adopted a 5 year old cat. Has anyone had any luck getting a leash on an older cat?

Just do a few minutes at a time at first, near the door. Take it off if/when the cat starts getting agitated. It may take a few weeks for your cat to get used to it and the first walks may be just five minutes long. Some timid cats never take to it, it's mostly something that fearless outgoing cats seem to enjoy.

Had one cat that was just that desperate to go outside. Tried the leash once. Nope. It hurt me more than it hurt him. A lot more. Especially given that it would have hurt him none. Nope. He gets to be healthier and safer inside and stare longingly out the window. Not in a major city.

My cat just like gets low to the ground and won't move. But I'm going to keep trying! I was too sick to start training her as a kitten unfortunately.

Lastly, we decided to let the artist share her additional thoughts with all of you Pandas.

"I'm constantly trying to improve my artistic skills and experimenting with new techniques, it's a never-ending learning curve and I am never satisfied with myself. I'm trying to make my art more niche, because I tend to want to try out everything but I also want to give my followers what they expect of me and what I really enjoy doing too - cats, even more cats, and lighthearted, relatable comics."

Where are the hairs that are spread all over the clothes - that every cat owner wears as an accessory?

Yes. We chronically have noseprints on the windows. We have 3 cats and a dog. Occupational hazard for pet owners.
