I think you're totally allowed to think a porn star is hotter than your wife, as long as you make your wife feel like she is the hottest. Equally, you're allowed to think models and movie stars are better looking than your partner, as long as you make your partner feel like they're the best looking person on earth. It has nothing to do with being a strong or weak person, it's just a matter of what your taste happens to be. I think it's totally fine to choose a partner based largely on personality, not appearance. Also, none of us are still gonna be as attractive as 30 year olds when we're 70, just a fact of life. No problem to notice that younger people are more attractive than your partner and yourself nowadays, as long as you're not being creepy towards younger people and still make your partner feel like the most attractive person.

I've been with my partner for 23 years, I've known him for 26 years and I can honestly say, I've never been more attracted to anyone. Are there people out there that are subjectively more "attractive", sure! Ryan Reynolds is gorgeous but I don't *know* him & being attracted to somebody is a whole person experience- it's smells, looks shared, laughter & feelings, not just appearance based- For me, anyway.

I think it depends on the context. My native language is almost dead because people gave English too much priority. Now only villagers and old, established families can speak purely in our language, everyone else tries to talk in as much English as possible.
