A pain transfer device that reads the pain your nerve endings feel. So your doctor can actually feel your pain briefly, or see it on a screen, to help diagnosis illnesses (and so they actually take their patients seriously).
I always carry a 3-Pound Sledge on my doctor's appointments to precisely explain my level of pain. It works wonders.
I would love to. Altough pain is a bit too subjective so I am not sure how it would work well. For example you tend to feel more pain if the reason for it is unknown because you become scared of it being dangerous. While if you know why it is (like you had surgery and its normal to have pain) it feels better.
Great idea! The people who need it wouldn’t be treated like drug seekers and the drug seekers would have a harder time getting their fix
I've thought of the same thing as a kid! Or maybe a device that allows you to see what the other person sees. Maybe we see different things, and there is no way to check!
actually that wouldn't work, as you would still see what you would see.

Load More Replies...This is the best idea I've ever heard of, I had spinal surgery it didn't work so I had a second surgery and that didn't work, when I went back to my doctor after about six months she tried to tell me I had failed surgery syndrome, I was still in agony after two operations and that was her response, I never felt as low or as humiliated in all my life.
Clothes for women with pockets.
REAL ones, please not the fake ones. Some men must think we want pockets as a “trend” but they are so useful!!!
Learned how to sew just to deal with this problem. If I make my own stuff, I can't complain about the pocket depth. ;)
I know what you mean. I'm so sick and tired of useless pockets on my clothes.
my guy friend says that if he ever ends up making girls clothes, he will make pockets big enough to fit an ipad, because he would make so much money
Lights on cars that indicates when someone is going to make a turn. Preferably blinking.
Brilliant idea, if only they would do this, and put them on motorbikes, trucks, lorries as well, that would be useful. I think orange would be a good colour.
But even if Was invented some folks would not use claiming - it's nobody business where they are going.
Wow that's genius, I'm surprised someone hasn't come up with it already.
Vending machines for the poor. If you put in enough trash, you get food from there. It would clean up the world and help people get food
Forcing the poor to collect trash to survive doesn't sound like a good social policy, especially since once trash means cash, people will have to fight over it.
That’s a really good point. Do you think that there is something else we could do that’s about the same idea? Trash could give credit or something like that. I really like the idea that cleaning up the environment can help people live but there are a few bumps I did not work out
Load More Replies...Or you could hire some more unemployed people for collecting trash and doing other kind of difficult but necessary jobs, and give them a very decent wage all along with healthcare and free school for their kids, instead of endlessly pouring all the money of the world in the pockets of useless billionaires. Just saying. Yes, I'm a damn socialist.
I think a lot of people are confused about socialism and communism, so we’re better off saying that we give a damn about people. Socialism and communism lure people into supporting tyrants, but it’s actually corruption and many complex issues that lead to a country’s downfall and the people’s oppression.

Why not in people's homes as well? Imagine if you could tell the kids, "If you wan to watch TV, you have to jog for 30 mins first!"
with a hidden remote in the kitchen and a stationary bike in the living room, your kids can believe this to be true! (as long as they're still youngish--8 or under probably.)
Load More Replies...Not really worth the expense (and materials) it would take to make it happen -- an average person will put out around 100W on an exercise bike, so an hour long 30 person spin class might generate 3KWh, or around 30 cents worth of electricity (and that ignores electrical losses that would be incurred in all of the circuitry to capture and convert the power to actually use it for anything). And almost all treadmills *use* power to run the belt, so you can't capture any energy from it -- even the ones that aren't powered have a lot of built-in drag, so you couldn't capture much excess power.
There is. greengymberlin.de was the first green fitnessclub in europe (in 2009) to make it happen. There are studios lilke this in the US and in China (for example) too .. Brands like SportsArt produce equipment for gyms that work like this. But they dont gather THAT much energy thou, its not quite efficient enough.
Car seat belts that will actually adjust to fit small people like myself ( 5'0").
I have seen something on the market that fits round the top of the seatbelt to stop it from irritating like that. It was designed for those who are smaller than 'average' but sorry I don't know what it's called.

A medicine specially designed for menstrual cramps. Not some indigestion medicine or general pain reliever or antipyretic or whatever that is being used for purposes other than intended. But a drug that was specially developed for this. And that is also called .. for example menstro relax or whatever. It is a problem that affects many women and it is still taboo and is neither appropriately addressed nor properly researched .. what I have been prescribed or said by gynecologists is really medieval!
There should be something that could get them over with instead of making half the population, for half of their lives, feel like crap for around 7 days of living days of hell once a month. Anyway, we need something to signal our ovaries not to prepare the whole reproductive process over and over or for it to get done faster with fewer pain.

Load More Replies...Yes. Ibuprofen and paracetamol do nothing for me (I have endometriosis so very bad periods). Naproxen and tramadol (it took me eleven years to get them) help but dont take the pain completely away. And if the pain is trully high nothing helps.
Exactly, although I don't have endometriosis ibuprofen, paracetamol and similar stuff doesn't help if the pain is really high.. all I ever heard was I can take a warm bath or drink tea or use warming pads (good intentions but ridiculous advice for pain like this) or I got prescribed some indigestion medicine (that didnt help at all) when telling the gynologist it is really, really painfull and if there isn't anything else I could take (would have taken anything at this point).

Load More Replies...Depending on what exactly is causing the pain ( not the same for all ) CBD is remarkably effective. Safe, legal in most places, NON-ADDICTIVE, and not as expensive as many prescription drugs.
Like midol based on naproxen and this somehow doesn't really reduce the pain.
Load More Replies...Indeed! I used coffee for the caffeine, and I found thc/cbd to be pretty good pain relievers. IUDs can make your period go away, both cramps and bleeding. But something like that can be too invasive for some (IUD is an In-Eutero Device).
In Belgium there is PERDOFEMINA which really helps with cramps, headache/migraine and fever related to menstruation. Helps for me.

Glasses that don’t fog up when wearing your mask. It gets really hard to see for me, because I’m not old enough for contacts and my glasses keep fogging up.
I push the mask far enough up on my nose so I can rest the bridge of my glasses on it and it keeps my mask from fogging, even outside in cold weather.
That's what I do too! Everyone else tells me I'm crazy
Load More Replies...Cut an average sized tissue in half...roll it up and place between mask and nose....It takes a tiny bit of effort but it works...You can also use baby wipes just do the same thing..

Essential workers definetly, All healthcare workers on the front line should get paid more with the money
Load More Replies...Yes applicable here in big cities in India... People who don't wear masks get fined, and it's the only way some people wear masks here lol
Load More Replies...a key element is enforcement. the same people who generally want this and would attach a hefty penalty would also whip out their cell phones in a microsecond to capture any perceived microaggresion by a law enforcement officer upon any nearby citizen. and you know that giving a ticket or otherwise for not wearing a mask would lead to viral videos that wouldn't look great on the evening news for any police dept. i just don't think this is going to happen. can you imagine people chasing someone like on andy griffith shouting, "citizen's arrest! citizen's arrest!"?
There is in Germany. The fine can be up to 250€ (306 USD) for not wearing a mask while shopping or in public transportation or crowded places.
It pisses me off that people follow the letter of the law by having a mask but not using it to cover their ugly face!
I saw patients in a medical clinic wearing masks under their noses. That is the same as not wearing a mask.

Kinda obvious, but a quick, safe, 100% effective cure for cancer.
Dont forget pain free. 2 of my sisters have been diagnosed in the past year.
Please remember there are many different forms of cancer. Some can be cured, especially with early diagnosis, but research continues to find better, kinder treatments for other types. It's a subject close to my heart as I was told, back in 1990, that my cancer was incurable and I only had 6 months to live. After extensive treatment, I had to stop work but now volunteer twice a week for the local hospice, which supported me.
Yes yes yes. And the same for AIDS and tuberculosis and other terminal diseases.

F**k the countries that don't want you. Come to Canada! You're more than welcome. :)
No one should get a free pass. There are procedures for becoming an American citizen. Let's say you're standing in a looong line at a music concert, hoping they don't sell out before you reach the ticket booth. Then you see a huge crowd of elderly people making their way to the front of the line, saying, "I'm old, I should get to go first. Don't you have any respect for your elders? Old people should get to go first." Would you agree, knowing now that there will be no ticket for you?
A self-cleaning smart home system. It can be customizable and you can program it to clean to your needs.
I just want a button I can push that 'flushes' my whole bathroom. Like a sprinkler pops out of the middle of the floor, hoses it all down, drains out a floor drain. Then a heat lamp comes on to dry it. With properly airtight cabinets, I think it's doable.

Ha ha ha Amusing much....Is there such an animal....No ......didn't think so.
There are SOME of these, (at least in UK) but it's so rare they get overlooked.
Tires that never get flats or wear down the tread.
Tires are a balance between wear, ride comfort and road grip. You *could* have tires made of materials so hard that they last the lifetime of your car, but they'd be uncomfortable and have terrible road grip. That said, you can get very long lasting tires, Goodyear warrants their Goodyear Assurance ComforTred tires for 80,000 miles. They are more expensive than the cheapest tires, but at around $150 each, they aren't the most expensive.
My tyres are filled with nitrogen....I havent needed them filled now for 2 years...They have been checked. Plus Nitrogen doesn't swell the tyre as much as air so tyre wear is less.
There are actually some cool innovations in tires trying to happen. Google a bit.
what if a company made this and calculated the price to be at least the value of 4 full changes of tires? would the average customer really cough up that amount of $ for it? at about $175 for 4 tires x 4, $700. surely, there would be additional fees for disposal, installation, etc. so around $800. tough sell, i'm thinking. but i'd def consider it!
FREE PADS AND TAMPONS!! Also, free condoms to encourage safe sex!
So y’all probably say my comment, I ment 9 dollars not 90 sorry!
If you're expecting the government to bear the burden, the government should not be encouraging any kind of sex, safe or otherwise. If you can't afford to foot the bill for your sex life, you need to rearrange your priorities.
It's not being able to afford condoms. Some people just don't buy them but having free condoms available in stores will encourage people to get them

The ability to fly without the need for machinery (I don’t know how though). And also the ability to add cartilage to knees/other joints where it has been worn away (this would be useful for me) as I would love to go roller skating again without worrying about pain, falling or jarring.
Bioprinters can make hearts and livers. I bet they could also make cartilage, but at the moment it's prohibitively expensive.

Part of me wants this (it would make replicators possible and feed the world), but another part fears it - just about every sci-fi story that has addressed the mechanics of it indicate you are "read", disassembled (i.e., dead), then your data is transmitted elsewhere where a copy of you is created from local materials.
this would be nice, especially if they used less energy than say, airplanes.
An English word for "The day before yesterday" (Preterday?) and "The day after tomorrow" (Postmorrow?)

more clothes sizes (half sizes, different lengths) as a short person i can find clothes that fit but are far too long and im sick of it!
Therein, lies the reason I only wear slacks. At 5.2 feet, and old as dirt, I got tired of hemming clothes. So did my eyes. In most slacks I can find 'petite, short'. This size requires no alteration for me.
At least you can hem them up. Do you realize how few clothes are available for tall women? It's not pick and choose, it's take what you can get. Entire departments for Petites, not one garment for a tall woman.
and the reverse, all brands carry talls! it's not very trendy to add 3 inches of fabric to slicaks, or skirts or sleeves!

The right to bear arms was written so that citizens could fight back against tyranny, and you're getting ready to see tyranny in action, but first they have to disarm us so we can't fight back. It's good to know which side you're on.
Completely disregard that I don't agree with you -at all- for the sake of discussion and civility: Lots of people in the area where I live have their own reloading set ups so that when we shoot, the brass from the bullets can be collected, taken home, cleaned, and reloaded into new, usable ammunition. What would you propose we do about that? Fortunately your idea of making the price of bullets 5k each is unrealistic, it would take away a lot from people who incorporate firearms into their lifestyles but I'd still be curious to know what you'd want to do. Would you be for taking that away from people saving money/having fun with their hobbies of reloading brass? My dad really likes doing it :/

At any time of the day or night, you can get drinks, sweets, fast food, condoms etc. ... but what if you urgently need pacifiers, drinking bottles or diapers for your baby? There should be self-service machines where you can get stuff like this at any time.
The areas in the USA that aren't already a 15 - 20 minute drive from an all night convenience store are probably the areas that wouldn't have enough traffic to support a well stocked vending machine. I live in a small town of around 10,000 people have have a 24 hour 7-11 market within a 5 minute drive (and they do carry diapers, not sure about other baby supplies), two 24 hour gas stations (not sure if their convenience stores carry baby supplies), and a 24/7 supermarket within in a 20 minute drive.

Look for Ticonderoga pencils. They have a shape that is designed just for that.
There are triangular pencils that are awesome, and also hexagonal shaped ones.
Use a carpenter's pencil! They're rectangular so they won't roll away, plus the lead is stronger than a normal pencil and doesn't break as easily. Only downside is you've gotta sharpen it with a utility knife
I have 3-sided pencils, which I like because they're more comfortable to hold, but it also solves this problem.

This is going to sound kinda weird, but... I am a lazy person who likes telling stories. I especially like doing it late at night when my parents aren’t there to bother me. So... some sort of device that you can write with , that doesn’t require you to move (yes I am that lazy) but not like a voice-to-writing kind of thing, because that will wake my parents. Maybe a mind-reading-thingy that transfers your thoughts to words in a google doc or something like that.
Soooooooo... reading my post, I kind of realized how lazy I am. Sorry. I just— I’m lazy.
I don't know about lazy, I find the sound of my own voice too distracting to dictate a story, and typing (no matter how fast) can't keep up with the thought, so I lose the story.
I agree. Just a device that instantly puts your thoughts into words without you moving.
But think of all the people who can no longer talk, they would be able to use this to write what they are thinking. So not lazy at all.
I would like a device to roll up my oxygen tubing so I don't stumble when I walk from room to room with my walker. It is a tripping hazard.

A flawless justice system throughout the world. No Corruption = No Theft (Greed) = An End to Poverty. Also artists, more specifically in television/music industry, should have a cap on pay. Why should doctors/teachers/civil workers be paid less than entertainers? when they add little to no (morals &) value to society. (Kardashians, I'm looking at you) Yes, many artists are inspirational, kind and generous, but don't affect the amount of lives everyday like good teachers and qualified doctors can over a span of years.

In india we have them but no one uses them like vehicles like buses and lorries and sometimes cars can go in one separate lane and vehicles like autos and scooties and motorbikes can go in one lane
That would require some courtesy on the part of drivers, which is sadly lacking in the U.S.

Some device (and software) that allows you to attach old, redundant technology for functional analysis and then add it's capabilities to newer technology. In a similar way to the Borg (from Star Trek). For example; I have two old Sony phones with memory, video, etc just sitting in a box. This "device" should be able to analyse what they can do and add these functions to, say, a laptop or a television or a network etc. If I get a newer laptop or want to upcycle an old PC. Then this device should be able to allow them to be connected together to offer some advantage and to suggest the optimum way to power them all. As time goes on, more devices could readily be added to the "Borg Network" even such things as an old FM radio, a TV remote, old dongles, old cameras, calculators, extra monitors and so on. The software could study and monitor itself and make suggestions for improvements. Imagine how all the extra processors could combine to improve computing functions and how the extra memories could be used in combination too.

A special machine washer for those stainless steel straws! I have not heard of any way to wash them with a dishwasher. You have to wash them one at a time with a little scrub brush and it takes so long... maybe if there was a good machine washer for them more people would buy them instead of plastic or paper ones, and restaurants could use them for the drinks consumed in the restaurant, without the trouble of washing them by hand.
How many do you have? It takes like 2 seconds to run the soapy straw cleaner through the straw and rinse it.
We have maybe 10-15. It would be nice to be able to wash them all at once!
