What’s a better way to start off a weekend than by looking at adorable and silly pictures of pets? Our companions not only offer us friendship and support, but also a lot of funny and happy moments together. You’re the lucky one if you've managed to capture those precious minutes on camera!
Thinking about that, I created a challenge asking our pandas to post pictures of their pets acting like total derps… and they delivered! These images are priceless and might brighten up your day!

I have a cat who likes to rub her nose on the glass in our screen door. Even makes a noise. It’s hilarious to see it from the other side of the door. Reminds me of how we all used to do that “pig nose” thing on windows when we were kids. Remember that? Little Tabitha quite often ends up achieving official pig nose-ness on the glass.

I have an annoying white cat. Teeny little thing, but the voice box on her has to be heard to be believed!!! If she wants something, she will scream and scream and scream for literally hours on end, until I give in. She's a funny little thing...absolutely terrified of everyone except me and my partner. Nobody other than us has seen her in the 4 years she's been alive!

I know exactly how you feel. We bought a new couch a couple years ago. It was expensive. You know, one of those investment pieces that you periodically reupholster instead of totally replace. We also have three cats and a dog. Though the cats have scratching posts all over the house, we still catch them trying to scratch other things. Anyway, I haven’t seen the upholstery more than the few times a year I take the blankets off to wash them—-and while they’re in the washer and dryer, I’m a nervous wreck when one of the cats jumps up on it. So yeah, my husband and I look at each other a lot and say “This is why we can’t have nice things”. Don’t get me wrong, we love our pets with a heart and a half. In fact, I’ve had pets my entire life, both cats and dogs, and even a couple rabbits along the way. But sometimes, we would love to sit on the upholstery of our beautiful new sectional sofa, instead of a collection of blankets hiding it.

My dad's a vet (so am I) and I have 3 older sisters, so we always had a lot of animals. He says that early on he and my mom decided they could have money and nice things or kids and pets. Never both. Pets are way better than money and nice things. : )

I've noticed an interesting quirk in my cat. He doesn't normally watch TV, but he will stop everything to come sit on the sofa and pay attention when Zelenskyy is on the TV talking. I take it that he's a good judge of character. 🇺🇦🐈⬛

Dorothy, I'm so sorry for your loss! I know how agonizingly painful it is to have to do that, but it's the kindest, most compassionate thing to do for our furry companions when all other options have been exhausted and keeping them around would just prolong their suffering...Ya know? My bf and I just very recently had to do the same thing for our 20+ year old quarter horse, Joe. It was devastating, to say the least. I wish there was something I could say to make it hurt less.. my heart is breaking for you and the loss of your kitty. My condolences ♡

We had a Moses basket for our son (many, many, many years ago), our 5 cats all liked to try out the baby stuff prior to birthday. After he was born I had it on a foot stool with a blanket over it. Boris our yellow tabby jumped in it, discovered baby and freaked. He was the one we had to sedate our first day home. eventually he was the one to sit in his boys lap as soon as he sat down.

This is not painful for the cat. In fact, he might get mats because of the long hair so this is the best case scenario. Don't judge every pet owner because you don't know their situation.

No, this is a "designer" cut and isn't something you get just to cure mats. It's meant to emulate a certain style and it's NOT something that benefits the cat. In fact, their skin is thin and their fat content is low, so they would be more prone to skin injuries from not understanding to scratch lighter than usual and from scrapes/cuts they would normally be immune to from having their intended amount of hair. They would also struggle to maintain their body temperature. If you have allergies to cats, shaving them like this will also make it worse for you because the allergens are in a cats saliva and with the amount of grooming they do, the spit would just fly around and keep their skin smelly and moist. There's no point in this.

Most likely because of matting. Many cats hate being brushed/groomed, so it's hard for the owners to do it themselves. And sometimes cutting it off is the better option, unless it's a double coat.

Lola looks like our Jack. He was the runt of a litter of three kittens some a*****e dumped on our dead end street. They were living up a crepe myrtle in our neighbor’s yard. The neighbor was out of town, and we were feeding their cat when we found them. Of course, we took them in! Found homes for everyone and still have Jack. He was the scrawny little runt of the litter, always two steps behind the others. He’s now almost 15 lbs, and just the biggest, sweetest, most laid back and unproblematic cuddly buddy cat anyone could ask for. The biggest, but not brightest, bulb in the pack, but a 100% total love bug. He also doesn’t know he’s not a runt kitten anymore, so when he gets the zoomies, he wipes out turning corners and comes to a stop like slamming the brakes on a huge, speeding, completely loaded Mack Truck. Wouldn’t trade him for anything.
