This made me smile because my 5th grade distance learning class would joke about this all the time, our little google classroom page had a picture of a monkey with the title “monke” he was a part of the class lol. that was a really rough year but it was the last year of school that I was ever happy, thank you

The blankets make excellent wedding presents. We got one and got to choose the design we wanted and we love it so much that we now gift one to couples.

Probably a mom or someone who doesn’t know it’s value. My mom was an “anti pack rat” in that she made us get rid of toys, clothes often because she was terrified of hoarding things and having a cluttered filled house like her mentally ill mother sometimes did, and I KNOW she’s made us get rid of some first edition, near mint cards and other collectibles that are worth thousands at least now. Can’t be bitter over it I guess, but MAN do I hope someone else capitalized on the great finds they must’ve had eventually.

Unless it's a fake. A lot of those circulating. Guy once tried to sell me an Earthbound at half market. Screws were wrong. Plastic was wrong. Label was poorly made (offset with what was probably someone's home inkjet) I have no problem buying a repro, but you're not getting anything other than repro prices, no matter how much you claim it was legit.

No kidding, years ago I found a copy at a vintage game shop and it was going for 115 yankee dollars. Needless to say, Ivdon't have a copy of ChronoTrigger.

Not knowing the value of that Chrono Trigger cartridge doesn't make someone an idiot. I've knowingly given away things that were worth good money because I don't *need* the item or the cash. I would rather it goes to a place where it will be used and appreciated. I took a steamer trunk off of a friends curb a few years ago that I loved and she didn't want. I found out after it had sat in my garage for a couple years (still looking for the right person to refurb it) it was worth $700. I told my friend and she told me to keep it, she didn't want it. That doesn't make a person an idiot.

Last price I saw for a copy complete in box with manual was listed at $650 at a retro games store near me.
