If you haven't heard by now, We Rate Dogs provides the internet with a super professional dog rating service. I'll give you a hint of what it is. It's in the name. "I saw other people doing extraordinary things with 140 characters funny captions — making me laugh and making me feel things in that limited character space. I got addicted to that best caption challenge as well," Matt Nelson, the man behind the funny Twitter project told TIME. "I realized dogs were a very hot topic on the internet. If I wanted my writing to reach more people, I wanted to utilize the funny dogs." Soon, Matt created the @dog_rates Twitter account and issued his first rating while chilling with his friends in an Applebee’s in North Carolina - an 8/10, handed down to the pet of one of the guys he was with. The next day his Twitter account already had 3 thousand subscribers. Now, his funny Tweets has over 7,5 million followers.

I am both glad and sad at same time, this doesn't happen on my way to office :)
Aw. So cute! With my elderly dog her tail would be totally upright whilst she was enjoying the walk but it would start to slide to half mast when she'd had enough - which meant I was able to make the walks the right length for her.
This is actually a nightmare scenario - happened to me. Was dogsitting for a neighbour (his parents dog who HE was dogsitting for). He advised me it didnt need much excercise. Didnt warn me it HATED excercise.Damm thing laid down in the middle of the road half a mile from home and refused to budge an inch. It was too heavy for me to lift up and carry further than the side of the road - didnt have my phone with me. After 3 hours I gave up and flagged down a friend I saw driving past for help - we got it back. Never took it more than 100 yds after that. It wasnt old - didnt have any health problems - just lazy and stubborn as hell. Lol.
Load More Replies...Would the siren on the ambulance wail "corgi! corgi! corgi!" ? ÷ )
Load More Replies...I have picked up more pups and little dogs with little legs more often than I can count. They walk fast to keep up and then run around the dog park and then need a lift home. I oblige and get kisses for my help.
My dog does this when she's tired. She looks at me as if to say, "You can pick me up or we can stay here, your choice."
My pup will lean until virtually horizantal. You have to be careful she doesn't flop over.
omg, cuteness overload...not thay anyone is going to get thus far with so many pics. The author was once asked why he has the twitter handle using we when it was just him. He answered that iratedogs just sounded like angry dogs.
iratedogs - that is so funny! You'd expect to see very different photos. Love them all.
Load More Replies...This is a good use of the Internet. We all feel better and happier after posts like this. Probably the only thing we are not divided about.
I love articles like this. Animals are amazing. Admittedly, this type of article has become a part of 'daily self-care' routine. How can you not be happy after seeing these faces?
Awww thank you for this post. I was trying to catch my breath because of taking the stairs...lol...and then I saw this. I immediately felt good! <3
I enjoyed the most the ones where pups were anything other than pups! :D
I haven't had any animals in my home for decades for many reasons, but I have been a pet sitter for friends in the past (physically can't care for animals anymore, though, especially dogs). My minister and his family have 7 dogs, three of which I currently interact with when I'm at their house for the Sabbath. I particularly like the old girl who is so quiet and gentle. Like me, she's a slow-moving elderly female, and we get along just fine. The two puppies the eldest daughter got from a rescue organization are very cute, and wonderful to play with---if it's possible to get them to stay around long enough. Don't know their breed, but if "Cute and Little" is one, that's them.
