I don’t understand how people are afraid of bats. Just LOOK at it! So cute
I can't give you an upside down UP vote or your comment would disappear.
Load More Replies...Cats have such expressive faces!!! I've never seen a dog look as mischievous as a cat.
I have been trained from infancy not to touch wild animals. However, the second I saw something like this would begin the most gut-wrenching argument with my very core being as to why I should not run up and scoop up this kit for a hug. And the blep!!!!!!
My partner and I were on a weekend away in the country, took a wrong turn and pulled over to figure out where to go. I looked out the window and 2 fox kits came out of their den to see what the noise was about. I'm glad we didn't give them some of our eggs, but I'd still like to give them some of our eggs.

Load More Replies...With so many animal pictures online, it’s no surprise that 68% of US households have a pet. That equates to 84.6 million homeowners who are happy to come home to their loyal companions at the end of the day.
It's already proven that our furry friends have a positive impact on our overall well-being, and scientists are taking a closer look at their different types to see how exactly they affect our health.
The adorable face that says “I have no idea what’s going on, I’m just happy to be here”
How long has that poor pup been laying there to avoid waking the kitten?
That dog has been blessed to be used as a bed. This is a great honor and responsibility.
Load More Replies...I love that someone has considered the cat's safety with the little cones. Brilliant!
Noooooo why is this on a cute animal list... Edit: OH IT'S JUST SLEEPING I THOUGHT IT WAS DEAD.
Looks to me like this is in Thailand. Reserved Cat Park. Whoever did this is such a kind-hearted soul.
Dr. Layla Esposito at News in Health’s Human-Animal Interaction Research Program explains that there’s no one answer to how a pet can help somebody. If a person’s goal is to be more physically active, then they might benefit from having a dog. If one wants to reduce stress, sometimes all it takes is watching fish swim for a calming effect. “So there’s no one type fits all,” she adds.
"If you value the pictures on this mantle, I highly suggest you take these disrespectful paintings down..."
I have 2 voids I feeding my backyard impossible to tell them apart. I just call the twins.
Various studies show that owning a pet reduces stress and loneliness, lowers blood pressure, increases feelings of social support, and improves mood.
These benefits are usually associated with more traditional pets, like dogs and cats. However, a home aquarium could have just as positive an effect on health. After all, there’s a reason why doctor’s offices have fish tanks in them.
Here, let me help. Last time you refused my help and it was a CATastrophe.
We can all use a helping han... paw! Sometimes

"Honesty William, don't you know how to use a-...just get out of the way."
Kitty should know better than to have a fire that close to the tent! It could be a cat-astrophe! I'll show myself out...

I love this but I would spend every second worried that he would wander off and get lost
Many people struggle to fall asleep, and watching fish can calm the body and mind enough to make one doze off, saving restless hours spent tossing and turning. The aquarium can also provide white noise that is proven to help people fall into slumber faster.
Having an aquarium in a workspace can also improve focus and boost creativity, maximizing productivity as a result. The visual stimulation of active fish may have therapeutic effects, such as giving the mind something else to prioritize or letting your brain rest while working through a complex issue.
Baby! Def wouldn't recommend this, he looks too young to be out and about, especially not in a bike, but still cute!
She's in her brooding stance, moves her wings away from her body to make a pocket

These qualities are especially beneficial for individuals who may feel overwhelmed or threatened by human interactions. The presence of these furry friends creates a safe and nurturing environment, helping to develop trust and emotional bonds, improving morale, and enhancing social interaction.
This is my spot. This is my spot This is my spot. This one is my spot. No, you can't have my spot.
We like to watch birds and mousies on the rectangular thing.
Rabbits also make great therapy animals and emotional support pets. Many people affected by emotional stress find them calming. A person suffering from depression, PTSD, or schizophrenia benefits from petting a relaxed bunny, which can be soothing and healing.
You owe my cat an apology. I just woke him up laughing too hard 🤣

I've never seen a baby with such love and gentleness in their eyes. Those two are going places!
A survivor of traumatic brain injury, Clawson, told Ameri Disability that caring for bunnies helped her with physical, cognitive, emotional, and social needs. She can work on her balance and coordination when getting down on the floor to play with them or groom them. Cleaning out their litter boxes and picking up their supplies help to strengthen her body too.
“I’m able to shut out any worry or anxiety and just focus on my rabbits being silly or napping peacefully,” Clawson adds.
"So, now I'll show ya where we can find basketfuls of fish.... but ya gotta be quick!"
After a couple of months, the two had switched to wet food, but that didn't stop them loving each other...🤗
You made me go back to check and only then I saw it! so cool.
Load More Replies...Using horses to help people even has its own term - equine therapy. It doesn’t necessarily involve riding them and instead offers an experience in which the therapist walks the person through activities and interactions with the animal. The emphasis here is on making a connection with the creature.
An individual may groom or feed it and learn how to harness and lead a horse around a small area. By creating a personal bond with a non-judgmental companion, one can gain empathy and independence and increase the level of stress one can handle.
The building looks like it's singing, or yelling. Idk...but it's creepy. The cat, on the other hand, is adorable!
I thought it was bad breastfeeding my daughter after her teeth came in.... OOF!

Choosing animal-assisted therapy can be a great choice for a lot of people. Healthcare specialists may recommend it for various reasons, just with different goals in mind for each person.
Reminds me of Chloe Clem who found Internet fame as "Side Eyeing Chloe".
Like many "Hollywood actors" he has moved to Montana and now growing dental floss.
Load More Replies...Ok, will probably get down voted for this but why do people feel the need to dress animals in clothes? It's awful, degrading and unnecessary 😕
It's not always unnecessary. My chihuahua needs to wear a sweater or coat when it's chilly to cold or he could get hypothermic. Small dogs and some cats (hairless) have difficulty regulating their own body heat, just like human babies. They need clothing.
Load More Replies...Quiet! They'll hear you! We're perfectly catoflauged..

And people wonder how they got so much cat hair on their clean clothes… or maybe they don’t.
Theyll never find us here. Hide! its coming to choose its reusable fur!
I feel like it's dangerous to own this rug AND that cat
Yeah, that's not an issue you want to encounter on a late-night errand.

So kitty goes into a bar and says "I'll have a......... bowl of milk". Bartender says, "Why the big pause?" Kitty says, "I don't know, I was just born with them." Thanks, folks - I'll be here all week long
Imagine seeing that footprint in the snow and trying to figure out what animal it came from lol
They never sleep enough for adults to catch up. Ear chewing, tail pouncing. Kittens are annoying when you want a nap.

The torty is obviously the brains of the outfit, the black cat is the one who takes crazy risks, while the other two are the brawn, and they share a brain cell.
You missed an Orange. He's the one with current possession of the brain cell, it seems.

ohhhh ok I was super concerned for a second
Load More Replies...My dog is reactive to German shepherds, and we’ve been working on it, and one day he came up to a fence to a park and I this German shepherd lab mix licked his entire face through the fence. He was too confused to get mad.
The snake now knows how cats feel when they are trying to look tough and regal, and then we pick them up and kiss them...
To dreeeeam the opposumable dreeeeam. C'mon....sing it with me! !
I love how dogs will usually look guilty when caught doing something like this, but cats could not be more content with their work
It's a lot of work to repurpose a chair. Our soft can-opener bought us a new chair when I was a brand new kitten. Audi wasn't even alive yet. We're still working on it. It's going to win first place when we're through.
Load More Replies...Because it was too late. And the behavior modification wasn't working. So now it's the cat's chair. Saves the rest of the furniture. At least that's my best guess.
Load More Replies...I want an Animal Planet special about this guy, but hosted by John Moschita, Jr.--AKA The Micromachines Man, for those old enough to remember.
Why are cats crazy about slippers or flip-flops? My two bastards kill one pair each year and they love to play »shoesketball«...🤷🏽 🏀 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛
Mine love my crocs, I found one in my bed this morning.
Load More Replies...I'm sorry to be that person but I don't think the cat put its paws in there on its own and doesn't look amused either. I would be very afraid of the repercussions....
Hey! I'm that person too. I dont find it funny, just feel sad that some animals have people who treat them like toys for likes.
Load More Replies...This is the way it should be. The soft can-opener may have a treat.
We were in the desert, somewhere east of Barstow, when the drugs began to take hold.
Both are Leopard Geckos, just different genetics that affect their colouring. One looks amelanistic possibly and the other banana as it looks like it has none of the black. They're need so that there is a wide variety of colours and patterns.

Because it's a chihuahua. They are usually very smol. Mine is a kaiju in the chihuahua world at 12 lbs.
Load More Replies...We only let our soft can-opener have toy mousies. She's not ready for the real thing.
The Modern Art Museum was perfect for the family outing on a rainy afternoon....
It's amazing that the nanner survived long enough to take the picture! They're usually a bunny's favourite treat. Don't feed more than a small slice though, as the sugar can give them severe stomach problems. Rabbits shouldn't eat whole carrots either, for the same reasons. The carrot tops are very healthy for them though, and we always leave a small slice of the carrot on.
wow. never seen a banana scale taped to the wall before. truly, it is art
Cat on the phone: looks like it's about to ask where babies come from. Cat in the carrier: looks like it's about to start talking about eternal suffering and torment in Latin any second now.
What our little boy (2) does when we have to tell him not to hit his sister
I'm using this right now and looking at this pic made me do a double take.. I thought my selfie camera was on.
This is adorable for a photo but please don't actually do this while driving! It is not safe for pets. Watch some crash test videos of supposedly "safe" pet vehicle restraints and it will terrify you. We use Sleepypod vehicle restraints (pod for the chihuahua and harness for the mutt). Keep your fur-babies safe!
Except at 2:30 in the morning, when they want you to get up and feed them.
Opossum in a hoodie fiercely eating popcorn on an upholstered surface??? Must upvote - no other option.
I understand the cuteness factor, but this breed tends to be very protective, bordering on agressive (I'm being kind here). There are a few of these dogs around my neighbourhood, and none are really friendly. One of them was great, playing with my dog for weeks, until one day it got jealous of my dog's toy, attacked my dog, and now (even months later) everytime we pass that dog on our walks, it gets agressive towards us. This is just one example of many, connected to this breed. I'm sure they're good with their families, but just one wrong thing can set them off, and their your enemies for life. I'm sad about that.

Awww... I know those eyes all too well: they get bigger and bigger and bigger by the second! Just look at those chubby...ehm... HOLLOW cheeks. Poor thing hasn't been fed in minutes!
I know, that’s a bunny on the edge of starvation…at least that’s what he’ll tell you.

"I will not attack the dangly thing. I will not attack the dangly thing. I will NOT..."
No you can't you silly thing! Garlic is bad for you!
Load More Replies...Please stop. Some pets enjoy wearing clothes, some just don't mind, and some actually need the extra layer for protection (from cold or sun or to protect after a medical procedure). For that matter, service dogs wear vests, military or police dogs wear bulletproof vests, and search and rescue dogs wear shoes. So just stop.
Load More Replies...Eggs!, … but what kind of huge spider is crawling out from under that blue bag?
Looks like a toy: a stick with long fuzzies to chase.
Load More Replies...I finally have an orange tabby after 52 years. He's the best and his name is Butters!!
See, i knew that cat could do this, i just never got it on camera!
Ah, the good old Australian Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, also known as the third most annoying bird in Australia, right after the Bin Chickens and those stupid Emus that beat us in a war
They'd probably be less obnoxious if y'all would stop serving them liquor!

Load More Replies...Plus, cats sometimes seem to put their entire weight onto whichever of their paws just happen to be on you—-and usually on someplace very uncomfortable on you, like your stomach right after a big meal. Think of it. You ate a big meal and are just stuffed to the point of almost being uncomfortably full. Then your cat comes up onto your lap, putting one paw dead center on your stomach, and puts what feels like their entire weight on that one paw. Ouch, f*****g ouch!
Load More Replies...Idk why, but i imagined this in Peter Griffin's voice!😂

Just remember what happened last time we did this. 8 little mouths to feed.
OK dumb question maybe: I thought spiders only had 8 legs? or is this picture an AI thing?
Not a dumb question at all. They DO Have 8 legs (used for walking) and 2 pedipalps at the very front (for feeling and grabbing prey).
Load More Replies...This isn't a housecat, this is a mountain lion/Puma. They're not pets, they are wild animals and certainly don't belong on a leash.
This puma is 'Messi' who was effectively raised in a petting zoo, and cannot be released into the wild.
Load More Replies...I have to hope this is a puma that needs human care to survive. No one should have a puma as a pet, no one.
It is. Was rescued from a petting zoo and can't be released.
Load More Replies...Is it just me, or does anyone else out there get angry when they see people putting clothing on animals? They are animals, not dolls.
No, it does not make me angry, nor should it make you angry. As Liss Reins pointed out, some animals like it for emotional security reasons. Some need it for protection from elements (coats in cold weather or sun protection for hairless breeds) and some working dogs wear protection from brush, bullets, debris, etc. If you want to get angry about something, get angry about people who don't care enough to bring their animals in from the cold, or who don't feed them, or who feed them to the point of obesity (it is NOT funny or cute) or abandon them when they move. There are a lot worse things done to pets besides wearing clothes. Edit for spelling.
Load More Replies...Obesity in pets is not funny or cute. It's borderline animal abuse that causes health problems and significantly shortens their life span.
Poor cat... When bunnies get too fat they can't clean their bottom properly, and that can cause infections. It causes massive problems for their joints too. I think it's pretty similar for other pets.
oh no. this poor kitty needs a diet now. all that extra weight can not feel good on their little joints aside from all the health issues. :(
Sadly idiots are now breeding dwarf cats because some other idiots think they're "cute". I think it's cruel.
Load More Replies...That's not just a sphynx - it's inbred and deformed because someone thought it looks cool.
Load More Replies...I feel like I could joke about the cat cosplaying a cow given the size and pattern, but honestly, this is just really sad to me.
Taking care of your animal means not over feeding it! It is YOUR responsibility to keep them healthy! 😡
Yes, this is what people should be angry about, rather than clothes on pets!
Load More Replies...That was exactly what I thought, as soon as I saw this. I keep scrolling back up and down to compare and it most likely is the same cat.
