In true 2018 fashion the students at North Farmington High School here with a pop culture reboot. That's right the senior class of 2019 are carrying on the time-honored tradition of dressing up as a pop culture icons for their student I.Ds - and they did not disappoint.
The idea was born in 2013 from a group of seniors who approached the administrators. Unsurprisingly the photos went viral. From T.V show characters to the most beloved memes, there has been no shortage of creative ideas from these students. “It is a rite of passage for the seniors and it has been something we have been looking forward to since we were freshmen,” Molly Deighton, 18, told HuffPost.

I'm glad they included the original picture, or else I wouldn't know what it was from (or how precise the costume is).
In case anyone who don't know, this scene is from a movie called The Princess Diaries
Load More Replies...im not really familiar with american sitcom but i remember him :-)
*cries* I couldn't watch the movie until it came out on disc. Too soon! ;P
lol thats peter parker (formally spider-man i think)
Load More Replies...And who drives the bus, while you are playing stoned with that wheel?
Really? That's a great photo for an elem school teacher, but not a high school student.
'And if you tell ANYONE that bush is there, I will come to your house and I will cut you!'
all images of bob ross are good pics.... at least that's what i think
Load More Replies...Nice try, but nope. Ever seen Bob Ross when he had a crew cut? He looked GOOD then!!
"The problem is not the problem. It's your attitude towards the problem."
Hate to be the party popper, but how does this work as an ID photo with her face completely covered?
You mean, what is right and what is left... ;-)
Load More Replies...When you are so ugly, you rather show your foot on your ID card.
(before Sheldon Cooper complains for not getting my joke, look at her real profile picture. She's actually very pretty, and she has nice feet too).
Load More Replies...Yes, it’s from full house, but Fuller House season 4 is currently being filmed for Netflix, and full house is also available on Netflix, most people who watch fuller house have probably also watched full house, and since they are filming season 4, it must be pretty popular. I don’t know why it won’t let me reply on the comment above.
I never said the show wasn't popular. It's just a random moment where Stephanie Tanner is wearing a random dress. It's not memorable in any way. Why would anybody choose to dress like that? Most of the others are very specific looking characters or outfits - it's easy to know what those people are going for
Load More Replies...I love this one. One of my favourite characters, together with Moana. :)
I didn't think anyone remembered that show but me... why did it have to be cancelled...
OMG, i would like some raisin bran! im loving the victorious costume
i made initech badges for my friends years ago and i still have mine up at work...i could set the building on fire.
I'm too old to know this song... but I can sing it all the way through.
Very cute. Nice he created the joke rather than was the butt of one.
Because, believe it or not, it’s actually grammatically correct.
Load More Replies...This is all great fun but if I were in HR or scoolboard or whoever decides about this I'd make it a rule that the face has to be clearly visible. I mean, they still have to function as IDs, right? Yes, I know I'm no fun.
I completely agree, while the concept is fun for the students, the whole point of the ID is to be able to determine who the students are, especially in an emergency situation.
Load More Replies...Jeez, I'm so uncool anymore. I've never heard of 90% of the celebs.
I now wish back in my time we had school ID photos - I could have had so much fun.
My fancy dress garb for a disco party was so good that not a single person (who I all knew) recognised me the entire night.
Load More Replies...Just curious how it's legal to show the names (and photos and skews) of some of what have to be underage children. But wait, in Michigan, the legal age is 17, so rev up that identity theft machine! As crazy as people are now, I wouldn't want a huge number of people to know my kid by name.
