The ability to tell the entire world what you feel or think is dizzying. 'How should I phrase this?' 'Do I include that?' 'Is this oversharing?' So many doubts are lurking around that share button.

But believe it or not, some people are immune to them. They post every thought that crosses their mind. And they can be anyone! Parents complaining about their kids, high schoolers "analyzing" political discourse, celebrities interacting with fans, or everyday folks venting about their lives; we can't keep count.

Here's a collection of tweets from people who decided to get personal online. Too personal!

The staff at CollegeGrad, an entry-level job site for college students and recent grads, believe there are at least 9 things you should never post on social media.

1. Profanity. The language you use on social media is often the same one you'll use when casually interacting with coworkers. A minor four-letter-word once in a while isn't a crime, but if swearing is a big part of who you are, it may affect how employers look at you.

2. Abusive content. Social media can be a great place to share opinions, but if your feed is full of arguments and rants, you may come across as an overly negative person, probably not the kind of employee companies want in their office.

3. Adult content. A snapshot on the beach is perfectly fine but posting explicit photos of yourself can have a noticeable impact on your image. The Internet is a public place. So, before posting a selfie, consider if you are OK with being seen like that in the office.

IanMcKellen Report

4. Illegal content. Not only could this get you fired, but it may also land you on America's Stupidest Criminals. Even worse, you could be arrested if authorities see credible evidence of certain kinds of illegal activity.

5. Offensive content. Racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination should have no place in your (online) life.

6. Negative opinions about your job, employer, boss, or professor. One comment about how you hate your job could cause future employers to wonder if you really like the work you are doing or not. And a comment about your "stupid boss" could make your next conversation about the raise you were hoping to get a lot more difficult.

7. Drug-related content. Some employers may require you to pass a drug test as a hiring condition. But chances are you won't even make it that far if you post about substances publicly.

8. Poor grammar. A comma here and there is nothing but if you don't know the difference between "your" and "you're", it's time to learn. Communication, including writing, is an important part of professional life.

9. Threats. It is not OK to threaten others, no matter the situation you're in. Wishing someone ill, whether it is a friend, family member, colleague, politician, celebrity, whatever; if you don't like someone else, social media is not the place to be hurling threats of any kind.

The Internet is public. Remember that when you're posting from your personal account.

Why is your political affiliation so important to Americans? Are there no people that just don't like any of them? That think, I'll listen to what they say and vote for the person that seems to have the best ideas to me? Nobody that thinks, 'I agree with the Dems on that subject, but disagree with the other thing. And I like the Reps idea on this, but not on that'?

When I was 7, I lost a tooth. I put it under my pillow for the tooth fairy. The next morning I found a $20 bill under my pillow. I rushed in to the kitchen and said "The tooth fairy gave me 20 bucks!!" My mother looked at my Dad and said "Wow...the tooth fairy was generous!" To which my Dad responds "Probably because it was dark and the tooth fairy couldn't see what he was pulling out of his wallet."

Try a union job. Unions force the suits, who don't do any of the actual, physical work needed to make or break a company, to pay fair wages and provide benefits. Not fair that the suits get millions while the folks who work so hard have to live hand to mouth.

I admit it. I am not a fan of posts like this. I am a boomer. Tail end and think rather differently than some do. Yet I am lumped together with all Boomers. I learned long ago not to categorize someone simply for being born during a certain time. I fell for that "Don't trust anyone over the age of 30." stuff much to my regret. I wished my parents (and elders) would just drop dead and get out of the way since as far as I was concerned they were screwing up the planet with pollution, etc. Yet, I see this. If I must be hated for the horrible crime of being born when I was then at least don't do the same thing I did by whitewashing people because of when they were born instead of what they are like. I am not any generation's enemy and I'm sick of it.

I don't understand the point of this post? Are you blaming boomers for the greed of Mark Zuckerburg, Jeff Bezos etc. None of the greedy billionaires are not boomers. As far as applying for jobs, you fill out an application. To sum up my point, it isn't the fault of boomers that businesses are not offering benefits. That is the fault of franchisee owners, and share holders.

I think at least tens of thousands of people play that every year. "Joe, we've sold the company. I'm sure with your thirty years of experience they'll keep you on." Mr. Johnson, we've decided to close this department. With your thirty years here you're salary is no longer sustainable. " Then there are women who stayed home to raise the children, act as hostess, etc. Then their husband dies, leaving their finances in a mess.

Big assumption that they either don't work or haven't changed jobs. Maybe they just don't view it as something they're owed and are good employees so they don't change as often and often change for a promotion. Same with Gen X.

You’re missing the point, which is that job searches and entry level positions are not what they used to be. If they had to start from the beginning now using the advice they give their minds would be blown. My mom was promoted into a job requiring a masters with just a HS diploma. That does not happen anymore. She would never even be hired by her company with just a high school diploma. And she certainly wouldn’t have gotten the interview by showing up in person with her resume and calling companies repeatedly asking to talk to HR. She definitely would not make a living wage where she had a house, two kids, two cars, and money for “fun stuff”.

Or perhaps give them student debt (not as bad as US I'll admit) and low level paying jobs and then try and buy a house in the current Australian market. We received the "at your age we were onto our third house, and have a trust fund, why are you living pay to pay and only just buying your first?" ..perhaps it's because houses are so much more expensive now (house to annual income ratio is ~12.2 whereas in 1970 it was ~4.5), as is the cost of living...among many other factors.

We have been through things that you all would "literally die" from that we see you as a bunch of whining pansies. That would be a TV show I could get behind. Boomers having to figure out how to live in the exact same conditions that young people do, including getting multiple minimum wage jobs, having to pay half their wages in rent to get a room in a shared house, or still ,living with parents, and then having to figure out how to pay for everything else, and get an education to move up in the world, all (preferably) while being heavily criticized by the young'uns who are no doubt doing a much better job than the boomers.

Hummingbirds have feet about the width of sewing needles. Those things are tiny! Their feathers are miniscule. Their "zoom" sounds as they fly from your hand to their freedom are priceless!

What conservative voters can't seem to understand, is that money invested in those who need it doesn't just vanish. It circulates in the economy and eventually ends up back where it started.

Chatted to a fairly new colleague at work. Told him I was very hungry, had no food, and break was 3 hours to go. He offered me his sandwich. I accepted and ate it straight away. He still recalls „the day I ate his sandwich“. Well, don‘t offer it out of courtesy if you‘re not prepared to loose it. We‘re married 10 years this year. :-)

in Germany we have "Zwieback", which literally means double baked. It is very crunchy and is very good storable. I love it soaked in cold milk with some chocolate powder as a refreshing summer lunch. It is also great for small kids or people who cannot chew properly :-D
