Oh I have really loved this post!! I'd like to mention one thing though and it's not something I would usually do, period poverty. All around the world even in the richest countries some girls are forced to miss school and education, and women to miss work because they don't have the money to buy these essential, life improving basic medical products. There are national charities in many countries or local food banks, if you are able to donate a pack of pads or a box of Tampons to them then please consider it. Help our fellow sisters to live better lives and have freedom at this time of the month 😊
Not gonna lie, my period came early and I didn't expect it, so I pulled down my pants to use the restroom and it looked like a battle ground. I just said to myself "no" and pulled out my phone and went on BP for an hour. Not in mood guys.
LADIES, have a tip from me: unexpectedly, I found vibration helps. Seriously. When you're cramping or bloaty/gassy, if you have one of those body wand shoulder massagers, gently press it into where it hurts or is uncomfy, it really really helps.
If men had periods there would be a machine that just sucks it all out of you.
It never gets less gross, and when you feel a clot or two come out, my first though was, omg! It will take up space on the pad and won’t let the blood through! Get to the bathroom and put a new pad on, NOW! I have a uterine condition that caused me to have large clots, very large ones, it literally felt like my insides were coming out, or other organs noticed the hole and decided to follow the clot out!
What REALLY sucks, ladies, is that I've discovered what does make a lot of menopause symptoms bearable, is using estrogen cream. Maybe TMI, but hear me out..this cream costs $335 a tube from CANADA. It is so freakin' expensive! Even with insurance, I still have to pay $165! For me, it's the only thing that keeps my lady parts very happy! Meanwhile...Viagra is dirt cheap. Intend to bring this to my congressman(woman). Yet another example of how women are punished for being...female. This on top of the tampon tax. Speak up!!
How tough and cool are women!? Us guys would fold up and beg for mercy at our first drop, and demand all govt military spending to go on ibuprofen and hot-water bottle tech. Also, we'd do f*ck-all but wimper one week per month...xxx
Reading these comments has made me laugh but it’s not funny how all women have the symptoms but we never really speak about them thinking that we are the only ones who go through all this. All the comments I’ve read are all what I experienced over the years but sadly didn’t really talk about them. However, I’ve made sure I’ve discussed periods and all that goes with it with my daughter.
Women only act abnormal for a few days, but testosterone causes men to be abnormal most of the time. Especially when males are in peak testosterone levels of late teens and early 20s, they cause more fighting and aggressive driving then others
