ROFL!!! Last year my store (grocery) received a pallet of summer seasonal items that we most certainly did not order. It included flamingo inflatables nearly this size. They took up the sky shelf space on all three frozen aisles.

Bought an antique glass pendant shade (about $400) from "reputable" British eBay dealer living in France. Took nearly 5 weeks to arrive, was in about 1,000 pieces due to laughably poor packing. Wrote to seller for refund or replacement; she found another by same artist, if I wanted it. I agreed, begged her to double-box, use some bubble wrap, etc etc etc. Yes, it also arrived in pieces due to inadequate packing. Tried to get refund--no response from seller, who subsequently stopped selling under that name. Submitted damage claims to shippers because I had PAYED for insurance (US shipper blamed French shipper, French shipper blamed US shipper). Ebay refused to cover due to their 30-day limit. I have used eBay a lot over the years, have had very few problems, but I still have these boxes of glass shards in my garage because I'm still angry about it after all these years and hope to create a mosaic piece to memorialize this experience.

When you buy cheap from China you are supporting the bosses of people working in terrible conditions for very poor pay. Most of the posters here have the money to buy from decent companies with reputable work conditions that you can check out. They just want to get as cheap a deal as possible. When you buy from China you are buying potentially dangerous items using banned chemicals, unsafe equipment or clothing for your children etc. Proper companies have to adhere to the laws that protect the consumer and the factory worker. Equally you Know named products are fake at those prices, come on people!

I love to shop online and have never had these issues. However I dont just buy anything online, I dont buy clothes unless its from a store that I have shopped at before and no their sizes. I never buy electronics unless its from best buy or a store near my house I can easily return it to. But I buy things from Ali Express all the time and I am careful to look at the measurements of the item I am getting. If it looks to good to be true it is.

Around 2005 or so, my son's friend (about age 17) spent money he'd been saving for a LONG time and bought a car through some guy in California. It was to be delivered. He got a matchbox car delivered to his door. The kid (a football player) went to California. He returned with his money and a mean look in his eye. We didn't ask any questions.

Always read the ENTIRE description of the product, including product dimensions. Avoid clothes shopping online, but if you venture into it, proceed with caution and understand that, unless you are built like the model in the pic, it will NOT look the same on you. Read the reviews and notice red flags (lots of reviews posted on the same date, really bad grammar, etc.) and read the negative reviews first. And, the tried and true saying applies; "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." Following these guidelines has saved me from dozens of online shopping fails, I'm sure. I've never had an issue.

exactly. especially all the tiny furniture, scale, etc? it says in the TITLE that its for dollhouses. yes i have found some of that furniture on amazon.

When you buy cheap from China you are supporting the bosses of people working in terrible conditions for very poor pay. Most of the posters here have the money to buy from decent companies with reputable work conditions that you can check out. They just want to get as cheap a deal as possible. When you buy from China you are buying potentially dangerous items using banned chemicals, unsafe equipment or clothing for your children etc. Proper companies have to adhere to the laws that protect the consumer and the factory worker. Equally you Know named products are fake at those prices, come on people!

I love to shop online and have never had these issues. However I dont just buy anything online, I dont buy clothes unless its from a store that I have shopped at before and no their sizes. I never buy electronics unless its from best buy or a store near my house I can easily return it to. But I buy things from Ali Express all the time and I am careful to look at the measurements of the item I am getting. If it looks to good to be true it is.

Around 2005 or so, my son's friend (about age 17) spent money he'd been saving for a LONG time and bought a car through some guy in California. It was to be delivered. He got a matchbox car delivered to his door. The kid (a football player) went to California. He returned with his money and a mean look in his eye. We didn't ask any questions.

Whaaaaat?!? Who would order a car online without have it seen before? Even 17 year olds. But well ... it also takes me a while to save 200 $, I always use these 199 $ for shopping tours and then start again and again and ... 😂😂😂

Always read the ENTIRE description of the product, including product dimensions. Avoid clothes shopping online, but if you venture into it, proceed with caution and understand that, unless you are built like the model in the pic, it will NOT look the same on you. Read the reviews and notice red flags (lots of reviews posted on the same date, really bad grammar, etc.) and read the negative reviews first. And, the tried and true saying applies; "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." Following these guidelines has saved me from dozens of online shopping fails, I'm sure. I've never had an issue.

Some people dont have the time in their everyday life to go looking for stuff for hours at a store there is some weird trick whenever you to a store you ALWAYS spend over 100-200 bucks and you are in there for 1-2 hours
