I relate to this one a lot. When it comes to matters of the heart, or point making, i articulate myself in terms of writing. However, my humor is almost always better in person.

As someone who's been raised to not interrupt people when they talk, I do get interrupted a tad too often for my liking... by the people who raised me, no less.

I feel this happens to me quite often. And when my real nature creeps up from the cracks in my shyness people tend to get shocked.

I don't like group projects either. But I do like working in pairs.

Yes! Same goes for me. No-one would describe me as shy because as a kid I learned you had to be happy and excited in social situations but I hate it. Yet, somehow I never stopt acting happy and excited, people that don't know me think I'm such an extrovert.

True, today I saw someone reading one of my favorite books before class, and I spent the next few minutes debating whether or not to mention it to them. Needless to say, my decision was that I had waited too long to say anything, and that, therefore, I had an excuse not to say anything.

Sometimes I pretend to be talking on the phone with someone so people won't talk to me :) People who know me to well though know I'm lying lol... I don't ever actually talk on the phone ahahaha

The exception is when another introvert is talking to you.

It freaks me out when people are nice. My thoughts: "strange person holding door open...may be plotting my death," "teacher asks me how I'm doing; may be searching for blackmail," "acquaintance offers me snack; may be trying to poison me."

Why I'm usually late for anything.

I'm the early one, so the group effect is gradual, versus being late and getting the full dosage at once. Also, being late would have all eyes on you at once and there's not a large enough dose of Xanax for that...

Man these tweets make it seem like I'm the only introvert who loves the outdoors... Doesn't any other introvert like outside?

Covid lockdowns were a dream come true for this introvert. Hearing about extroverts losing their minds over no social contact, some even needing therapy after, was baffling to me.

Nighttime is a very magical time for introverts ^^
