Everybody who owns a Husky knows they are the worst. These unenthusiastic and lazy dogs are incredibly boring to spend time with. Not only that, Huskies get super cold even from the slightest breeze, so don't plan to take them on trips or anything. On the upside, at least they're really cultured, possessing the best manners.

This is adorable and creative. But what are you doing breeding? There's a plethora of huskies who are in shelters and need homes. People starting buying them because of Game of Thrones (as they did with Dalmations and Chihuahuas because of fads.) Many of these dogs will be euthanized because of overcrowding. Sorry to be Debbie Downer but I always speak out about adopting rather than breeding and buying.

There's a time and place for that diatribe - and this is not it (despite the fact that I agree with your message). Just enjoy the cute little fluffers! I doubt the owner/breeder is reading this anyway, and the pups are probably grown by now.

I have had 2 Siberian Huskies....Mother and Daughter and loved every minute of them, was fortunate to live near the country so plenty of running for them, walking for me, BUT neither were destructive, always very alert and easy to train, very loving and huge characters ... lost them both with cancer at 12.5 yrs still miss them greatly x

What a fantastic idea to see how and what they do while you are gone!! I LOVE THIS and Huskies all the way through!! .... P.S. Just remember they need lots of room to exercise their wonderful bodies and love to understand when they make mistakes... lots of mistakes! Great Post!!

Was a little Annoying going through all of these photos and laughing and then when I head to press the button for more there was an advertisement that said rape. Kind of ruins the whole point of looking at funny husky pictures.

I've had a lot of different, large dogs, but my Husky is the only one that "talks" to me. It sounds a bit like "Rowrowowow rourow!"

hehehehe..... i worked with Huskies and tourists for 30 years. (in Trysil, Norway.) and it IS true! they ARE the wierdest dogs on the planet! the thing i don,t like with the photos, is that NONE of them is living outside and work! the one that got brushed and a "new dog" was beside it is the result. the fur is ruined! the comfort temperature is -10c to -25c. i know the owners love their dogs, but it IS kinda selfish to bring a hard work loving dog from it,s natural, cold habitat and relocate it to a warm and sunny place. no wonder the little guy in the fridge refused to get out. today, i miss every dog i had as working buddies the last 30 years. but.... i had to amputate both legs because of an infection gone bad last year, so no more sled ride for me. (still, i live on the good memories. sure, some trips was rough as a trip to the worst nightmare when a full blown blizzard came in the middle of nowhere and you couldn,t see the leader in front. a comando, HOME! it went well.

Huskies are amazing dogs but definitely not for everyone, including me. It's not just the exercise. You know how hard it is to train a husky? Doesn't stop them from being cute and awesome.

Train? A husky? More like they deign to do what you are asking because they like you... mine would actually sit on a chair at the table and interject during conversations. She was the best.
