“Prank-O”: These Fake Advertising Flyers Are Too Good To Be Thrown Away (15 New Pics)

Bored Panda reached out to Arik Nordby, Co-Founder and CCO of Prank-O, to learn more about these humorous flyers. We were curious how the team decides on the themes and products featured. "There's no real process," Nordby shared. "I just jot down any bits of ideas and whittle them down every couple of months."

Nordby revealed that they create the flyers for Prank-O Nation for "anyone and everyone that enjoys adding a dash of bewilderment to daily life!"

According to the co-founder, coffee shops are his favorite locations to display flyers. "It's fun to grab a cup, sit back and watch people read the shop's bulletin board. It's a double bonus if they take out their phone and snap a pic! PRO TIP: Do not put inside mailboxes as that's a big no-no with the Postal Service."

Talking about surprising outcomes, we asked Nordby if their flyers ever caused unexpected reactions from recipients. The co-founder shared some funny stories:

"•We heard that the 'Wasps In Printer' sign caused a small office to evacuate while the pranker watched from his desk.

•I brought 'One Toilet Paper Square Limit' on a trip with friends and posted it in the main bathroom in our rental house. I had to stop one of our friends from calling the property owner!

•My local police department ran a notice debunking the 'Hose Audit' flyers. (check out their great hashtags!)

•A few years ago, when my son was in elementary school, I had him unpack the 'K-5 Note' from his backpack for mom. It was great having a front-row seat to the short-term chaos it caused!"
