As confusing as the world is right now, there are not that many options but to live through it. With safety belts fastened and survival kits prepped, we’re gonna keep on rollin’ into 2020, which is like an old Klaxons song “Not Over Yet.”
So what's a better way to get your sanity deficiency cured than a dose of good humor? And not just any kind of humor. We’re talking about the new comedy genre of the year, pure gold in the mockery department, and already a cult classic—Bored Panda’s compilation of corona jokes.
The punapocalypse is back, so get your masks ready, 'cause it’s about to feel like someone turned on the laughing gas. Be sure to check out the previous parts here, here, and here. Trust me, just like wine, they even get better with time.

It's easy to lose hope with all the challenges that 2020 keeps throwing at us. Especially when you look at how the coronavirus has been resurfacing in some parts of the world in the past few weeks. There are now 10.5 million confirmed people who have been infected with Covid-19 worldwide; over 2.6 million of them are in the United States.
On Tuesday, June 30, more than 48k new coronavirus cases were confirmed in the US. Meanwhile, at least 36 states have cases trending upwards, some states have put a stop to easing lockdown regulations, and the number of new cases in the US has risen by 80 percent in the past 2 weeks. So it's easy to panic and to feel stressed.
However, laughter and seeing the silver lining can help psychologically and physically. And if you feel guilty about laughing during this crisis—don't. Humor helps us get through the toughest times.
Is it warm and hot and fogs up my glasses, yes. Does it help me know that I am protecting my 8 years old daughter who has me wrapped around her finger and my father in law who has had Parkinson's for over 20 years, YES.
Yes. In Spain, where I live, we all have to wear masks and I haven't heard any bitching from anyone. There are the occasional idiots here and there not wearing them (mainly teenagers), but they're a minority. On May 19, the central government passed an "order" saying that everyone must wear a mask in public spaces, shops, and public transport. We're in the middle of a heat wave (one of many yet to come...) and the only thing that really bothers me about the mask is not being able to see through my fogged up glasses, lol.
Load More Replies...I have damaged lungs. I was in a coma for a couple of months, and on a ventilator part of that time. It is difficult for me to breathe with a mask. It also causes anxiety to have a mask on. I STILL wear a mask every single time I go out, even if I sometimes have to step outside to take a break, lift the mask, and breathe for a while. Why? Because I don't want anyone else to experience months in the hospital. I know what it's like.
You should become a spokesperson for a public service TV commercial. No statistics, no theory, no experts in lab coats, just a first-person story. People connect with that.
Load More Replies...And my clothes restrict my movements, but you don't see me walking around naked. Except that one time, but we don't talk about it.
Yes, a mask makes you feel a little suffocated, and uncomfortable. I find it triggers me, and gives me anxiety attacks. I still wear one when I leave the house, because it it the responsible and ethical thing to do. Suck it up, buttercup.
Admittedly masks CAN be uncomfortable to wear, but the consequences of not wearing one can be 100 times worse
Try long and deep breathes instead of short hectic ones. It works better under the mask and, bonus, is healthier anyway because larger parts of the lungs get to work and more oxygen and CO2 are exchanged to resp. from the blood.
I wear one but have a reaction within a minute or two. I have asthma. According to the federal guidelines I don't have to wear one. Until all the "stupid special" people out there start wearing one I'll continue to wear one. It's not about religion and it's not about politics, it's about life!!
I have asthma, I wear glasses, my face sweats, my glasses fog up, and I occasionally have some difficulty breathing if I wear one too long. I'm still gonna wear it
I have asthma and even I find this to be ridiculous. Yes, it is slightly more difficult to breathe and if I wear it for more than 30 minutes I risk an attack, but I still wear the freaking mask because IT IS SAFER
The best...so true! How would he like it if his next surgery was mask-free?
That's usually the question I pose to those "patriots."
Load More Replies...I am ok with mask while standing, sitting or walking. But once I ran with mask on my face to catch a bus. I almost died. It's not enough air for physical activities. And I couldn't even remove the mask when I got into bus, I was just wheezing into it for like several minutes, pretending I am ok.
You are the reason I really resent the one's who don't wear their masks .You are the people who will get us through this. Thank you.
Load More Replies...AFAIK there's people who legitimately struggle with masks, but they still have options. They can order their everyday stuff online or hire someone from the area to buy them. Or experiment with ways to cover their mouth and nose (where I live, scarfs are an option and I'm sure they can be wrapped such that the person can breath more easily but the airflow to the environment is still sufficiently disrupted).
I do all of the above and always wear my mask when I go to the doctor. Good tips and nonjudgementle. Thank you.

Dialysis tech. 12+ he shifts, full ppe...and we kept the place at 85 cuz the patients get cold..we cool their blood. Suck it up is right!
Load More Replies...Six hours? S**t, hospital I work at has a surgeon that does 16 hour cases on the reg.
When I first put a mask on to go to the dentist (it did make sense) I also found it hard to breathe at first but I got used to it very quickly and then didn't notice it
Oh man, i hate to tell you what's going to happen to you if you get covid.
I hate masks too, so you know what I do? F*****g stay inside. Just because we have masks doesnt mean we can go outside whenever we please. Stay inside whenever possible
The Annals of the Royal College of Surgeons of England: offered a simple method to The fogging, suggesting that, just before wearing a face mask, people wash their spectacles with soapy water, shake off the excess and then allow the lenses to air-dry. "Washing the spectacles with soapy water leaves behind a thin surfactant film that reduces this surface tension and causes the water molecules to spread out evenly into a transparent layer. I have some lung trouble and really can't breathe well with a mask. Solution? Buy a face shield.
It's not the same. In my country, even if you are wearing a face shield you must wear a mask, too. The shield is optional, the mask is compulsory. If you can't breath you can get a a certificate from your doctor to be exempted.
Load More Replies...It is AMAZING that they managed to brainwash whole populations to wear masks outdoors by making them think they are being like surgeons, DUH!
Well I don't make hundreds of thousands of dollars in a career I chose knowing I would probably have to wear a mask for hours a day every day in said career, so there is that. And not everyone wants to spend their time or life following whatever the narrative du jour is of the democrat party and their bedfellows the mainstream media like some beaten down Stepfor wife. How about you do you? My body my choice hun. Have a nice day then. ;)
Just keep your mask a little longer please. We will have one less idiot to deal with
100%. My sister nearly died of asthma. She lives in az. She wears a mask all day at work. Stfu
Try different masks until you find one that is as comfortable as an oxygen mask.
...so Bill, you white lovelock curl, you was struggling to breathe, uh? REALLY? I don't wish you to get sick of Covid like was me just to not overload the medical staff heroes, but you deserve it! she said "drama Queen" only because Soledad is a Lady... I'm thinking something different, starting with "A" ending with "E"... guess!?
I was a nursing sister in theatres. We wore face masks for 8 hours straight and even longer in really difficult ops. There is No Reason you cannot wear a mask for an hour or two whilst out and about. You are being ridiculous.
I had been wearing a mask even before the pandemic hit us, because of air pollution and yes it was very difficult for me to breathe specially when I'm walking because of my asthma but still you gotta do what you gotta do to protect yourself and others.
The masks that medical professionals use are different. They are more breathable and don’t suck to your face when you breathe normally like a cloth mask does.
the only real annoying issue is fog on glasses, but always better than make elder people or parents sick or dead, don't you?...
I can understand how people who have anxiety issues would have a problem with the mask, but the anxiety created from worrying about being exposed far outweighs the problem. Try different kinds of masks. I'm sure you will find something that will work better. For short trips to pick up something I use a cloth one with a cute design, for longer shopping trips I may use a disposable. Also, google it, people who have to wear masks all the time have a lot of great suggestions for the best way to wear them and avoid fogged-up glasses.
I start to freak out with my mask on after 2.5 hours. But I’m like 12 so
You get coronavirus and literally within seconds you are struggling to breathe. Even worse struggle. Wear the darn mask
Maybe Bill Mitchell has other problems, some mental health-issues? I think he's just a numbnut, but in case not: there are other options. Like wearing a face-shield, which I would do if I had to wear a mask all day long for my job (of course NOT if I were a health-worker! Just for if I worked in a shop or somethign) Otherwise, dear Bill: grow up.
I've worn a surgical mask with no problem. But one of the beefy ultra filter masks (N95?) makes it hard to breath in a few minutes. You shouldn't be wearing those as a matter of everyday practice though (unless you really NEED protecting due to high exposure risk and/or compromised immunity).
and the cloth ones, if the fabric isn't woven correctly, there will be little holes that many many different types of germs can enter through your nose/mouth. cotton is said to be breathable, meaning air can go in and out. its like putting your shirt on top of your nose. yes, n95s and the blue ones are the best !
Load More Replies...If you clean your glasses properly, they don't fog up. But like shoe sizing, not using your mobile while driving, and realizing social media is for chumps, folks will b***h anyway.
glass fogs up when warm condensation hits it's colder surface. It doesn't matter how clean it is.
Load More Replies...Bored Panda previously spoke to comedy writer and comedian Ariane Sherine about whether or not it's all right to joke about the coronavirus during the pandemic.
According to her, it's "essential" to joke."Humor is a release mechanism to help us cope during dark times," she pointed out. Now that's something we should all keep in mind the next time someone tells us that we're being insensitive while laughing, don't you think, dear Pandas?
However, that's not the only plus of laughing during a crisis. Ariane told us that shared humor also helps us bond with one another. "Lockdown would be very gloomy indeed if we couldn’t laugh about our predicament!"
There are lots of fun ways to boost your mood if you've got the pandemic blues. Hilarious lists like this one work wonders, as do stand-up comedy shows, funny movies, and comedic books.
Comedy writer Ariane revealed that her personal favorite go-to funny movie during the lockdown is the 2004 flick 13 Going on 30. "It’s really heartwarming and the Thriller scene is hilarious. It always lifts my spirits when I’m feeling low."
What about you, dear Readers? What do you do to cheer up during these stressful times?
She's right. Emphasize how important it is that you stay safe and no American will object to wearing a mask.
I am sure there are people out there that would actually do as the sign says.
Guy did this at stop & shop less than 6 feet from me and it was not a short or light cough. I was worried for 2 weeks.
I'm a theatre nurse, masks become 2nd nature. Try wearing one whilst scrubbed (not allowed to touch face) and with a runny nose. You soon learn to suck that snot up lol

Anti-masker to doctor: You may have gone to medical school for over eight years, but I passed an online course on farming, so. . .

I vote we just send everyone who refuses to wear a mask to Texas and let them 'govern' themselves. Hell, give them Oklahoma too. Hay I live in Texas. Keep your maskless trash to your self. We got tons of these idiots already.

I'm happy to live in a part of the US that isn't seeing an increase in new cases. Maybe it's because I live in the middle of no where, but no one wears masks around here, no social distance, everything is open and nothing. I honestly forget about Covid.
Just one infected person coming in from the outside will turn that into a hellsite.

The title should be jokes about the politicization or masks rather than ‘Memes about the pandemic.”
I HAVE HAD SEVERAL DOCTORS TELL ME THAT A MASK IS TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE BUT THEY WEAR THEM TO KEEP THE FOOLS WHO BELIEVE OTHERWISE QUIET.
Seriously I can't breathe with a mask on and I know a lot of people have this problem. If I'm in a store I have to leave to get some air. Didn't bother me too much during the winter but the summer is awful. Easy to see how people marched into those box cars, tho.
If you honestly can't, your best bet is to stay home, because it sounds like you're in the high risk group of pre-existing medical conditions and it would be the best for your and everyone's safety.
