As Brett Cullen, head of social media at Hatch PR, explains, "Celebrities have finely crafted public images, and social media is an important part of making or breaking that. There's a strategy behind why celebrities do what they do (or don't), particularly on social."

"Community college first" seriously I was NOT ready for a four year school straight out of high school but I let myself be pressured into it anyway (I was the valedictorian and was basically told community college was beneath me). Would have saved myself a lot of money and a lot of headache

However, we're not coo-coo if we're interested in celebrities' comments either.
Dr. Paul Harrison from Deakin University’s Faculty of Business and Law, who is an expert in consumer behavior and culture, believes we monitor and follow celebrities so closely because as humans we are constantly searching to understand how to improve our lives.

"The problem is, we are only seeing a proportion of their lives."

So while these comments can be entertaining, we shouldn't feed ourselves too much into them.
Celebrity worship syndrome is a disorder that occurs when admiration for someone shifts into an obsessive fascination. While it's not a clinically recognized condition, it's been described as an obsessive-addictive disorder.

I believe happiness is absolutely a choice because I have to choose to work for it. It may not be the right choice or even a reasonable or doable choice and it is always okay to not be okay. (As someone who is in the midst of a health battle that almost got me two weeks ago, I've been raging and grieving for a very long time. Forced happiness through a blanket "Happiness is a choice. Just choose it." mentality would have made it soooooooo much worse!) But I do believe it a choice and I'm glad she embraced it here. I also don't think she was pushing the toxic side of this positivity. Groovy post.

I remember a time in my youth when my boyfriend wanted me to wear thong underwear. Never really got used to the feeling of a bit of fabric being wedged between my heineclappers - always wanted to pick it out. All I can think of when I see that style of bathing suit XD
