My mate in the Royal Navy 6ft4inches was asked if he scrubbed his face - would the black come off. I looked the other way as I heard a fist connecting to a jaw. Asked by the MAA what I saw. I told him I saw the gentleman faintiing and thought it must have been the heat. I got 1 wweeks punishment for being flippant.

Brooklyn 99, Season 4, Episode 16 "MooMoo" tackled this subject. Police Sergeant Terry, played by Terry Crews, goes looking for his daughters comfort toy, 'MooMoo'. He's stopped on the street just after finding it by a white police officer who basically racially profiles him and the police officer immediately puts his hand on his gun. Terry is out of uniform, in his own clothes. If you have Netflix or another platform to be able to watch it on? It's worth a watch.

Yes, I see the wrong here but it remains possible that they would have made the same call regardless of color. A lone officer whose flashlight is hitting bedroom windows and has not identified themselves could be a potential criminal in costume. When police are in our area on foot they leave the lights flashing on their vehicle and let us know if they are on our property or near it. Dad told them to eff off but that's only because he had dementia and would have told the Pope to eff off just as quickly.

Racists always excuse other racists. Believing that racism only applies to the klan is how you let yourself off from your own racism. It is always such a “reasonable” explanation. White people always find it reasonable that cops murder sleeping Black people, Black people not doing anything at all whereas when many of us shoot up schools, theaters, churches you name it, cops manage to take us white people alive and even stop to get us something to eat.

A Person Who Hacked My Credit Card Emailed Me, Asking Why I Canceled His Flight
My credit card was hacked. I think the guy did it by hacking my Gmail account because he signed up for Priceline using the Gmail login button.
I called my bank and canceled it. I logged into Priceline to see if I could get any information about the person who booked the flight. I saw I could cancel it for no charge. So I did it because it was going to be faster to get a refund from Priceline than my bank.
Two days later I got this email. It had his photo and phone number. It matched the name on the flight too.

I once taught a 16/17 year old girl who said it was impossible to have anything above 100% and this girl had a C in GCSE. Another time, and this was the WHOLE room of adults I mentioned the experiment where two object were dropped on the moon (feather and hammer) that proved in a vaccum things fall at the same rate - I got called a moron... By EVERYONE.

I asked the person at the counter at Baskin Robbins for a quart of a certain flavor of ice cream. She said they had no more one-quart containers. I said, ok just give me two pints for the same price. She froze, stammered, acted like I was trying to trick her, then refused. Another excellent product of our public schools.

I understand this, though. You have to ring things into the cash register, mostly using bar codes. If you don't physically have a one quart there to take the code from them you cannot make the cash register give the one quart price, it won't do it. Also, 2 smaller things are more expensive than one big one due to packaging and transport costs (round containers make you transport a lot of air in your truck) and the costs of handling and storing the items in store, so they are not the same price at all and not interchangeable. Cashier likely working out if this is possible with her register and without getting fired, and that jammed up her brain in being able to respond.
