My last cat literally chose me. She stuck her paw through the cage at the shelter and grabbed my shirt as I started to walk away from her. I was like "well, I guess this is my cat now". :) She was my buddy for the next 17 years. I still miss her. <3

My mom just bought something from a coworker and needed my help moving it so we went in and there was a cat named Giles and he licked my hand and let me pet him!!!

I must confess, I am lucky enough to be chosen by 4. They sulk, glare, and refuse cuddles if they're not in the mood to share me with one another. I got cuddles from 3 yesterday afternoon, the 4th glared at me because I dared to share favors.
