There’s no denying that cats are lovable pets. However, there are times when they can be more of a nuisance. The images you’re about to see are proof of that.
This Facebook group gathers memes, images, and stories from people showing a cat’s least adorable side. Some posts come from personal experiences; others poke fun at a feline’s known quirky behaviors.
We’ve collected some of the funniest and perhaps most relatable ones for you to kill time with today. Cat parents, you’ve likely had similar experiences.

I had a Bob once. Called him Stewie. He's no longer with us, but he would bite my legs and near the end I could pet him!
I never make an effort to touch my feral cats. They still have to live in the wild and I don't want them to learn to trust humans.
I have the same with my female feral I call "Piper!" I have cameras with sound so she gets up to set the camera off and when I look, she meows really loud for her food! I've been feeding her for over a year and a half and even put out a "cat hideout" for winter. It's only been a few weeks now that I can actually pet her and hold her. I just can't bring her in because one of my other very large females would blow a gasket! The other two and the dog wouldn't mind. And I'm not sure she'd be happy except maybe in winter. 20240609_2...f39659.jpg
Bob!!! Bob knows that - you is a nice Hoomans and will feeds! Bob may one day allow a head stroke and that day will be absolutely precious because he Trusts you kind person! 💜
Laughing - gotta love Bob - he has you trained well! I"ve been trained well also :-D
We had a Bob. We named him Oliver. He must have had his own servant at one point because he was rather polite. Every night around 5 he would show up for food. We are convinced we are part of an animal underground system. And never have we turned away a hungry, injured or sick animal, for which I am proud, Currently we have a Bob, but our Bob is a squirrel, He currently has his own food bowl attached to a fence. It was made by our contractor. Maybe you could write a childrens book about Bob.
Still, you have been selected and must abide by the rules of the Cat Distribution System
Bob is gorgeous. The face speaks volumes and all of them are wondering why you're taking photos and not feeding him
I knew a cat named Bob. "Bob" stood for "Big Ol' Balls", cause he had 'em.
Thank you for being kind to Bob. I have one of these. His name is Buddy. Looks a lot like Bob. You don’t live in Queensland Australia by chance 🤣
I love this, I have feral cats next door, and I give one of them some treats when he's on my porch. He looks just like this, no appearance of begging, or cute meowing, just this. "Food human. Where's my food?"
I've got one of these. He anlso anccepts catnips and even lets me play with him with a toy. Once he let me touch him but I tried again and got scratched. He is named Bad Kitty.
The reason why cats act out is likely similar to when a human does: it’s likely a physical issue. As certified animal behaviorist Dr. Mikel Delgado said in an interview with Slate, their sudden attitude change could be driven by hunger.
However, Dr. Delgado also recommends a vet visit because there could be an underlying issue like hyperthyroidism. Some symptoms come in the form of erratic behavior changes.
“You’ll see the cat get ramped up,” she explained. “Suddenly, they’re a pain in the butt, and they start meowing at night. They’re more active—they’re running around.”
If the vet gives your cat a clean bill of health, Dr. Delgado says it may just be bored and require some form of stimulation. Just like humans, cats act out because of boredom.
In this case, Dr. Delgado recommends ramping up exercise routines, adding food puzzles, and increasing clicker training. This will allow your pets to learn to receive rewards for good behavior.
Mine did it with the "tap on/off" water faucet just to get a fresh drink, and then never turned it off. I no longer have said faucet.
However, giving your feline friend too much attention can backfire on you. As Dr. Delgado explained, any reaction form of response to a behavior could come off as an affirmation.
“Licking the plate is already rewarding, and then you’re adding the human attention, so it’s like double rewarding,” she explained, adding that handling such situations calmly is the best approach.
Research has shown that cats are just as affectionate with humans as dogs are. However, experts agree that their actions sometimes don’t match their feelings.
A purring cat may indicate happiness, but according to University of Georgia veterinary professor Sharon Cromwell-Davis, it could be a sign that it needs care.
Meows also mean they are trying to interact with humans. As anthrozoologist Dr. John Bradshaw explained, domesticated cats, in particular, have learned to use it as a communication tool since they don’t meow at fellow felines.
Ultimately, it’s about learning to read your beloved cat. Cat expert and writer Franny Syufy takes care of eight felines and advises taking mental notes, if necessary.
“Pay attention to body language, vocalizations, time of day, and what your cat just did,” Syufy wrote in an article for Spruce Pets. “With time and careful observation, you’ll likely begin to piece together the triggers of your cat’s craziness in various situations.”

Back when my daughter was a baby, and I was breastfeeding, I used to get very thirsty during the night so I kept a glass of water by the bed. I could never work out why the water level was always lower than I expected it to be. Was I suffering sleep-deprivation memory loss? Then I woke up one night to hear a mysterious sloshing noise on the bedside table...
it's Chloe from "The Secret Life of Pets" :D Capture-66...0f17d9.jpg
When you are over at your friend's house and their mom starts yelling at them.
That's the designated spot. Obviously the carpet is there to protect the floor.
It's proper to mark the box as our territory. Why DO you steal our poop anyway? Soft can-openers are SO weird!
My friend had a mostly feral cat. He was a stray who gradually moved indoors. He would tolerate my friend, as long as she understood the rules - dont pick him up, don't cuddle him, and you may pet approximately 3 pets when providing food (or something like that). Well, he needed to go to the vet. Friend had warned vet that he was feral, so they were prepared. Friend borrowed welding gloves that came up to her elbows. She took a deep breath, grabbed the cat and shoved him into a carrier. Hmmm. That was too easy..... Got to the vet. Staff is wearing their flame resistant Kevlar body suits. They carefully pull the cat from the carrier and - he's perfectly calm. Looks around. Doesn't fight, doesn't make a sound. Friend looks at vet, and he's giving her the side-eye. THIS is your wild cat?
He quality-checked every single roll! Where's the appreciation?
My boy has actually always been good about using the beds we give him. I guess this is the trade off for how much he bites me.
Yeah, watching bird videos. Go tell your therapist.
Anyone know what kind of bird this is eating fruit?
I have a cherry tree and I don't get any cherries because my chickens jump up and eat them
The 5 second rule does not apply here. We know where those litter box paws have been.
As soon as any of the bottom of the bowl is visible, it's considered empty!
There are some nasty trolls here. I up voted to counter their down votes, but either there's more than one troll, or it's one troll with more than one account. All I can say is, "Get a life!"
I've done my best to rectify some of the unnecessary downvotes as well. It's just rude.
Load More Replies...Warning that no one mentioned: beware of cats in ur bathroom. Had a cat that was a super rat killer, like I'd find intestines n skulls in the yard regularly. One day walked in the bathroom n there he was chewing on our toothbrushes🤢🤢
Who would put 'Indifferent' or 'don't like it' to those absolutely hilarious memes?
My cat always lets me sleep all night. At my previous job, I woke up at 0500 and my cat acted seriously put out. Now that I'm retired I usually wake up at 0800 and he's up playing with his toys and letting me sleep because I go to bed around 0100. He's sound asleep by the time I decide to sleep.
