I hate pictures like this, they're often used to judge and condemn younger generations, when thr reality is there's just not enough context here. All we see is an elderly woman standing and some young people sitting, there could be any number of reasons for this. I've seen older people turn down seats because they prefer to stand or it's easier to stay standing than to sit down and struggle to get up again. Also from this angle it looks like she's standing at the doors, most likely getting ready to exit and could have been sitting on an empty seat we can't see. People should really stop judging a situation when they can only see a tiny part of the bigger picture.
