The more self-aware might actually give a fairer rating and may even add a star or two. But the words they write are just swimming in entitlement.

Not even 60 seconds as there is a bottleneck. That toaster takes 30 seconds, you know they got them toasted.... and can only hold 2 loaves. So unless you stay on top of it like a hawk you will end up out of sync and waiting for the next set of them to be done. Either you dedicate 1 person to cheese meat toast and they need to nail it, or you end up with closer to 45 seconds a sub I would think. Not to mention packaging.... neatly wrapped and they won't have all been the same kind so labeled and bagged with napkins and drinks and sides... I'd bet these folks were knocking a sub out in under 30 seconds to finish her order in 63 minutes

"as a last minute resort" then you'd think this would've included a hefty tip for the workers and the understanding that that $hit takes time. That's about a sandwich a minute! Most Subways I know won't do more than 5 subs for one customer without prior notice and prepayment.

63 footlongs should take over an hour to make. Based on typical turn around times that could take 3 hours.

Honestly 1 hour for 63 footlong subs is really good timing. That's less than a minute per sub. Also if you're doing a large order anywhere you need to call 1-3 days before the event.

As far as I know, you need to call in beforehand for a single foot long order, even more so if it's 63 of them. They better be praying that nobody spat in their sandwiches out of spite.

I worked at a fast food place that was open Thanksgiving morning. Skeleton crew working. Guy orders 50 sausage biscuits. MGR tells him we'd be happy to make them. Be about 20 minutes. We got it done faster and he still complained.

As a former subway sandwich artist, an hour for that many subs is pretty good time. Especially since they still had to take care of any other customers that came in. We once did like 300 subs for a local prison (they get to choose one fast food meal a year). We did them all after closing, 3 different options, same veggies on everything. It took us 2-3 hours without customers.

As a Scottish person I'd have yeeted their asses out pronto - it's one thing going into a big chain pub or restaurant to use facilities, although still somewhat frowned upon, but to take up a third of a restaurant while buying one drink? No, nope, not happening. We're a welcoming and friendly bunch of people (mostly) but we have a limited tolerance for arsehole behaviour, which this group most certainly are guilty of. I worked at a bakery/cafe and a woman left a 1-star review because she tried use the drive-thru to pick up her the custom cake that she ordered. What she failed to SAY in the review was that we had her pull forward 20 feet and BROUGHT THE CAKE OUT TO HER CAR so she wouldn't have to wake up her kid! The thing that really pissed me off about it was that the owner of the place didn't say anything about THAT in her response to the review, just kissed the woman's butt in order to make sure that we "didn't lose a customer". She wouldn't have needed to be rude to the lady! Just let the readers know the other half of the story!!
