When they didn't move when I called out excuse me can you please move a couple of times, I put my head to the side and dropped my shoulder and braced myself. It worked- I got off the escalator without injuring myself.

I’ve never had the opportunity to ruin an influencer’s video, but I’m hopeful. However, I DO stay out of the frame for tourists taking photos (and even offer to photograph them), since I live in a touristy city and their sales taxes pay for our pier & other improvements.

If you're going to go taking pictures of yourself in public areas with a lot of traffic you COULD take a leaf out of the average movie director's book and go there very early in the morning or late at night when there will be very few people about so you can shoot at your leisure, but this would be missing the point - it doesn't count as influencing unless lots of people are forced to watch!
