45 Times People Interacted With A ‘Karen’ And Shamed Their Behavior In This Online Group (New Pics)
Entitled people are annoying and we can't escape them, however, they also tend to provide us with endless hilarious content.
You could be casually walking your dog or patiently waiting in line for some coffee when, out of nowhere, a random stranger might approach you and start demanding that you prove you are allowed to do something or yell at you for doing it wrong. Despite their passion for nitpicking others, these people are also somehow the ones who confidently wear a wedding dress to a wedding as mere guests.
Getting to know all the possible situations in which you could accidentally interact with a 'Karen' might get you prepared to stand your ground more confidently and record it while you are at it because usually, those situations turn into comedy gold.

Good for standing with your employees. Contrast this with those "nobody wants to work" employers.
I'm Doing This From Now On Lol
Dealing with entitled customers is the worst nightmare that service workers constantly face. However, if you don’t get in contact with random people a lot, you might be lucky by only being acquainted with them through other people’s experiences. Their unrealistic expectations, inability to accept ‘no’ as an answer, and high demand for attention are typical entitled person behavior.
Run Away, And Never Come Back
What you need to do is go down to your local church, ask the priest for a reverse emancipation form, check the "child" box (it's between the forced labor box and the internment box). Get the form notarized by a religious leader, political leader and the local sheriff. Make 3 copies, have each one signed by a family member then shove them up your butt.

To All The Karens Out There
To work around such people, you will need to become more aware of your limits so you will immediately notice when your boundaries are being crossed. To set them, though, you consistently have to remind them of it. Another skill is assertiveness. It is important to be able to stand your ground when facing difficult people. However, it's better not to lose your cool and to stay as calm and polite as possible.

You Would Think They Would Be Nicer After Leaving Church
I have read this a few times in different places from different people. And to be honest, some of the most horrible, intolerant and rudest people I have met have been extreme religious people.
My last bar had a few church groups that regularly came in (we were a niche bar and usually dead until 4:30 so we did a Sunday church brunch thing). It was such a crappy shift that management actually rotated all the servers through so no one had to deal with them more than once a month. They almost never tipped and would make you work very hard, complained about everything, needed tons of attention and hand holding. It was exhausting.
Load More Replies...I worked at a restaurant where the church crowd kept tipping with tracts. One guy decided to collect them, staple the receipts to them, and take thm all to the pastor of the church that printed them, and ask for his money. That's how it works, right? Here's the plot twist, he got the money. And the pastor started ending church reminding people that tracts aren't tips. It was pretty epic. Hes still my hero.
Would be great if the pastor paid by using donations from the church members.
Load More Replies...When they leave what looks like a folded $20 as a tip, but then you open it up and it's a Bible verse and some nonsense about how it's "worth more than gold." I once had a customer offer to tip me $5, but I had to sit and pray with her first. It was degrading, but I was broke and hungry, so I did it.
Just in case: please don't feel ashamed for doing that. Yes, it was degrading, but it wasn't you who was degraded but the person who did that. I hope you have a better life situation now.
Load More Replies...I used to work at a Christian school, and about half of the staff were Christians, the other half weren’t. But what really, really stood out was that the ones who always gossiped in the staff room in the most malicious way was not even only the Christians, but the churchgoers amongst them in particular.
Only those people who needs to be taught how to behave nicely will spend their sundays in church. The rest of us can pretty much figure that out on our own, and can spend our precious weekend time on something wiser instead.
I have a neighbour who goes to church every Sunday. He is the most annoying and disliked person in my building. If there was a God he's smite him down for being just an obnoxious cockwomble!

There's a difference between religious and spiritual. And some people don't get that
An Indigenous man corrected me when I referred to his beliefs as "religions". He told me: "It has nothing to do with religion. It's *spirituality*." Another reminisced about his grandfather: "He was very spiritual." I'm an atheist, but I really appreciated their explanations about their beliefs, such as not wasting any part of an animal because it's disrespectful to the animal that gave its life.
Load More Replies...As a Christian, I can tell you that I see a big difference between those who chose Christianity in adulthood, and those who (for lack of a better word) inherited it. A lot of the inherited crowd are there out of habit, or familial obligation. I've personally stopped attending church, because I don't feel like I fit in.
That’s so sad! Sometimes people that call themselves Christians just aren’t showing the love of Jesus
Exactly, as a Christian myself, I try to treat everyone with kindness so that people think of my religion positively and also its because Jesus wanted us to be kind, not to judge, and to have patience and self control. It's unfortunate that some Christians and church goers don't practice as they preach
Load More Replies...The older I get, the more I realize that those who "follow Christ" are the least Christ-like people in the world.
I get what you are saying but generalizations like this are pretty rude. You wouldn't say all atheists are bad just because some atheists are bad
Load More Replies...Ask any server who the worst customers are and they’ll say “religious people/church people” every time.
I was a waitress in college and HATED the after church crowd on Sundays. They would "tip" with religious traits and pamphlets. I caught it one day before the person left the restaurant. I ran up to them, handed it back, and said, "Sorry, but this doesn't pay my electric bill. But I'll pray for you that you stop being someone who stiffs a hard-working waitress her earned tip." And walked away.
Same here. And they’ll pull 5 tables together without asking. Then camp out for 4 hours, run the wait staff ragged, get all separate checks, then not tip.
MY father always said: "Take a look at the people in the frist ranks of the church...There is a really hot place in hell for them"
I worked in a church in college in the rural mid-west. I ran the daycare program. This is where I learned that church goers are the most judgemental, cruel, and hypocritical people out there. The gossiping was out of control. The cold shoulder toward those they considered less than was rampant. But the best was seeing some of the people out at bars or parties on Saturday night, getting drunk, cheating on their spouses (usually with the younger crowd), and then seeing them acting all holier than thou at church the next morning. I was once leaving a party, and someone was putting one of our college professors into a car. He was so very drunk, and had been making out with one of his students. As I'm passing by the car to get to the one I was getting in, he drunkenly calls out, "Amelia! I'll see you at church tomorrow!" I took care of his two daughters at the church. The next day he is there with his wife acting the part of a doting husband and father. It was pretty gross.
I worked in a bakery in Sam's Club for 11 years as a cake decorator and let me tell you, the absolute worst people were the churches on Sunday. We always used to say that they were rude as hell since they thought since they were going to church they were automatically "forgiven". Mean, Entitled and rude as you can believe!
I've worked in finance for over 25 years... guess which business NEVER pay their debts? Churches.
I have found that the most religious people are the most unhappy, angriest, people I've ever dealt with. Why are they so mad at everyone? Is that what's being taught in their religion? Or... are they really mad at themselves for being such schmucks?
Yep. My friend waitressed at a diner that was near a few churches and she said everyone HATED working on Sundays because the after-church crowd were so awful.
Ohhhh I just had nightnare flashbacks of the Lenny's Sunday brunch buffet. Please make them go away
Speaking as a former BK employee who worked Sundays, yes. Guessing the pastor told them something they didn't want to hear. And those stupid religious pamphlets they leave on the tables and in the bathrooms!!! 🙄😠😝
When I worked fast food as my first job ever, Sundays after church were absolutely horrible.
Well, they did just pay someone to tell them what wonderful upstanding people they are. And they believe it.
Used to direct traffic at a church during after school religious classes . the parents would give the finger for making them stop to let kids cross. The best was a teacher called out when they had to speak about pre martial sex they asked me to fill in , I had a child at 18 ( don't think they knew) I answered all their questions honestly & said always use a condom to protect yourself even if you take the pill.... I was not asked back :) LOL
Is this what churches, in the form of the pastor, priest or rabbi, are condoning / teaching now? Just asking cause the behaviors described are 7 days a week 24 hours a day by the same people
My mom always said if you want to see how hypocritical religious folks are, just watch how they act trying to get out of the parking lot right after church.
Don't feel too bad for yourself. When Jesus was here, he had a lot of issues with the church crowd of His day too!
This is known among the intelligent ones. Christian fascists hypocrites brainwashed subhumans
This is not new. My ex-husband was a busboy back in the early 1980's for what was then a big chain restaurant in California. The city were I grew up had a big evengelical church there even then. The pastor has been the same guy all these years. (He's now vocal Trump supporter, natch -- he was at the Rose Garden when Amy Comey Barrett was presented as a SCOTUS nominee. Anti-vax, white Christian nationalism, the whole enchilada.) My ex HATED working the table when the people from Harvest Christian came to eat lunch after "services".
I have left tips for other tables, because I watched servers deal with entitled churchy people who left bible tracts or fake money with bible verses instead of a tip.
Ah yes, Sunday morning irony. Watching all the religious people breaking the law because they are in a rush to get to church.
When my parents moved us out of the city and into the burbs, I had to walk 30 mins to church. Even in the cold and snow, no one stopped to see if I wanted a ride (this was in the '60s). I carried my missal so there was no question about where I was going.
Shouldn't they be respecting the fourth commandment? https://lifehopeandtruth.com/bible/10-commandments/sabbath/
Yeah, that's pretty on-brand for modern Christians at least. Maybe it's just rose-coloured glasses but my memory is Christians used to be super nice people.
That's why I don't so organized religion. I find MOST people that "go to church" tend to b like that in all aspects of their lives. That they feel they r somehow entitled to more than anyone else, even tho they don't know if others they encounter r also part of the "blessed"
We call them churchies and my wife and I always time our Sunday meals around their departure from their cult/church
Aahhh, the Parade of Christians. Hate them so much. The meanest people on earth.

Most importantly, to maintain your mental health, just don’t take anything these people say or do personally. Our actions and perceptions reflect our mindset, and that is the same for entitled people. They are projecting their twisted sense of entitlement onto other people, which is not a commentary on your worth.

You White People Need To Stop
Everytime i see this I laugh. Most cultures love to see people try the clothes, hairstyles, foods that they have. It's only the really weird that hate it. Also if we're not allowed to try anything and just look or be like our 'culture; is, isn't that a form of segregation???
However, not everything revolves around those people and solving their behavioral problems, so just before going in contact, try to evaluate if the energy you will invest is worth it. Such people can be draining and harmful because they use psychological violence, and your mental health is more important than these people’s entitlement will ever be.

I have started telling people bluntly " it sounds like you have spent to much time on facebook, because thats not reality " It moves the "evidence" into the plattform it belongs and older people choke when they have to defent "internettknowlegde". i have had some sucsess in at least shutting down discussions by saying i wont listen to undocumented c**p from that site (and others) but its also fun to see their brain implode while working out the "logic" of why their info is good while everynone elses info is bad.

I'm not a bad person, I just want to get rid of my future stepdaughter or I ruined a servers day and lied multiple times and bragged about in a post?! And the worst part? They see nothing wrong with that.
They honestly think they are in the right. They have some weird dissociative ability to rationalize truly terrible behavior

I've got to admit that I still find the excuse of "Oh well it's a meme so it's okay" doesn't sit well with me. It must be truly horrible to be called Karen - no matter what you do or who you are there must be that constant feeling of being judged for no reason. I just don't get how people who appear to otherwise understand how damaging microagressions are to people just swing away at the name Karen without a second thought. It's lazy, it's another way of pitting women against women, and the sooner it dies out the better.
A whole paragraph to say you agree with the behaviors depicted. Wow.
