BOTW. Best game ever. I've played Zelda since it first came out and I was in my 20's then. Now I'm 59 and so excited for Tears of the Kingdom to be released that I can hardly stand it.
the saddest part is someone thinking this is a flex / brag. Between Skyrim and Elder Scrolls Online I have over 2000 and probably well over 3000 hours. I don't consider it a "flex" I consider it kind of sad actually given when I was younger I used to have more of a 'real' life. When I was young I traveled the world and some of the stuff I did would be legit flexes. But games? Nah, that's just for fun. I've killed world bosses and enjoyed MS Jigsaw. both/all are games.

I would rather say "If you play games and the term suits you." I play games but I'd never consider myself a gamer. For me to feel connection to a term (=feeling like it describes me), the thing has to be of major importance or a passion of mine. Playing games is neither, so I don't see myself as a gamer. It's just something I do periodically for fun, kinda like watching TV.

I don't consider myself a gamer, but back in the day, I completed tetris on the game boy. whenever I mentioned it, people say "doesn't it just get faster until you lose?" nope. you get to the top level, finish it, and it shows a little rocket taking off. my husband was also super impressed when I mentioned I'd completed Ghosts and Ghouls on the megadrive, as he thought it was really difficult.

I'm probably just old, but people calling themselves "gamers" squicks me, when it's not their job. To me most people just play "video games" (including me, I used to play in a time where it shocked men that women played other games than sims 1. Which was a great game BTW! ). I just say I play games. Pc or playstation. Opens up for a conversation about which types of games people play and like, which is nice. Somehow I just never was part of that slang word coming into existence and suddenly everyone runs around saying "I'm a gamer" like it's their proffessional title or something that defines them as a human. I know people won't agree with me about this, which is why I say maybe I'm just old. 😂 But in my defence using the word "gamer" in that way is exactly what caused people to pop up who calls themselves "REAL gamURz" 🤮😅

From my experience women are the worst enemy of other women. I grew up with a sister, work in a field with a lot of women around - and the majority of the conversations is gossip about how bad some other woman is.
My sister noticed that too. She became an HVAC tech in a field predominately occupied by men. She said men may tell vulgar jokes and can be a little too flirty, but they will never gossip about you or stab you in the back the way female co-workers do.
