I Write Prompts And Let The AI Do Its Magic By Creating Fantastic Worlds (33 Pics)

I've always been very creative, but never quite had the artistic talent to bring my immense fantasy worlds to life, so finding AI art was a huge game-changer!

This looks a bit like watercolour, which I love! Also great use of colour here!
Love the use of negative space. Ever think of creating titles for these creations?
Quite lovely--she reminds me of Alina Starkov from the book, Shadow and Bone.
I noticed very similar eye problems after prompts I gave. It becomes a bit unnerving.
As an artist, this makes me sad and angry. We spend so many years practising and perfecting our craft, working hours and hours on a single painting and here people praise you for typing a few words into an alogrythm. The technology behind this may be impressive, but I am afraid of the future for us artists.
I have wondered a few times what this would mean for actual artists. There is no doubt that the AI genreated images are impressive, but they are exactly that. Generated. I think in the longer run it will increase the potential value of an actual piece of art made by human hand. It's like buying a mass produced Ford in comparison to a hand made Bugattis or buying a suit from Walmart against buying one from a Taylor. It can't compete (humble opinion).
The technology evolves so fast that I'msure that one dayyou can tell the AI to copy an artists Personal style, and this mass produce lookalike art with a few clicks. This is not only shitty for all the people who spend years ofpractise, but it also create huge legal concerns in my eyes.
Totally agree. And unfortunately you can already tell it to copy an Artist's personal style. For example with DALL E, you can tell it to create an image in the style of Van Gogh or Rembrandt. To extrapolate it a bit further though, it's not just artists who are affected and this in turn goed back to my previous analogies, once upon a time places of work were filled with skilled staff who spent years to learn a trade or craft which are no longer required in mass production. You can only hope that for the real deal, people are willing to pay more.
That day is already here. If you write a prompt to say the artist's style you want to copy it usually does a pretty good job of it.
I understand your point and concern. I draw digitally and traditionally too, and I understand the importance of hand made art. However, my skills cannot be used to bring my imagination to life the way I want to, which is why I find AI art important: it gives a chance to less skilled people to fulfill their visions.
This may Sound rude but: then practise more. So many artists spend their free time for decades to get to the point where they can visualise their ideas. It takes determination and heartblood to reach such a Level. I am also far away from the Level I'd like to have, but I keep going on, and not let a machine do All the work while I get fake praise. Also I'm concerned about how quickly AI evolves. It wont take long until you can tell it to copy a specific artists style, something, on what they were working on for decades. I'm okay using this technology for concepts and ideas, but thats it. And knowing humans, and their hatred for artists, they will give a f**k about our time and dedication for the craft and simply use AI to craft their own original pieces based on someone else's Art. I am so afraid that the respect for this old craft Just gets löst when everyone can basically make a DaVinci with Just a few clicks.
These are very incredible, Richard. Toaster Teostra I agree with you. AI is very fun to experiment and challenge. I love what it/I create, like a toy. I know a few "artists" who use it to pretty much "do" a painting or watercolor then print it or transfer it to canvas, go over the AI's "work" with their own medium and claim it's an original artwork. It's tracing, it's copying..what have you. I also remember when Photoshop first came out and there were a lot of anger, especially from photographers, that their art and artform were becoming people just lazily slapping a few layers of random stuff they'd get off the internet and make a "photo". Many,. many prize winning photos even in national Geographic and nature contests were clearly Photoshopped. It used to outrage purists and artists who put a lot of love and time into their art. now it's like no one minds if artists "cheat" But I do and agree with you
It's a nice collection of work, but without the prompts that you entered, this post is like walking through a gallery without any information. I have so many unanswered questions.
And I'm really sorry about that. This is my very first post and didn't know how to add descriptions to the pictures when I uploaded them. Feel free to ask any questions.
If you knew the prompts the mystery is revealed. It's kind of like opening inspect on your browser and realizing how web pages work
That's true, but I would have liked to add what these are in my fantasy world, so people wouldn't need to guess.
I love these. The eyes are giving you a problem but with practice I'm sure it will get better. Come back later with more! I enjoyed these.
The eye thing is something that the AI apparently has a bit of a problem with, tho I find it to add an extra level of uniqueness and in some way beauty to these creations. I'm definitely bringing more!
LOL, BP just told me today you replied to my comment ... 10 months later. Ah yes, I has the problem with the eyes and I've read that somewhere. I'm still enjoying these and I don't care if you take credit because it's like being a puppeteer behind puppets - you're doing a lot of work but the puppets are the ones who are funny.
