Out of all the Twitter accounts out there, few live up to their name as well as 'Cursed Images'.
It shares random pictures from random times and random places with random subjects doing random things. But they all have one thing in common; they make you feel uneasy.
Whether it's a playground next to a cemetery or just a fridge full of naked action dolls, these shots raise more questions than they answer and the lack of context behind them is a big part of what makes them so tense.

But the concept of cursed images has been circulating online for a few years now. According to the famous internet culture catalog Know Your Meme, these pictures are generally seen as disturbing to the viewer, either due to poor photo quality or abnormal and illogical content.
The idea of cursed images initially started on Tumblr, and the first account to publish them exclusively was of the same name as this Twitter account. Its first post appeared on October 28th, 2015, and gained just over 1,200 notes.
Images of this or similar nature are sometimes seen as the visual equivalent to CreepyPasta, a genre of short horror stories.
This Twitter page aside, they have inspired several popular social media accounts. In fact, we've already covered one of them!
Fun fact, what you see on the right is the deer's own skin hanging off the antlers, in a process known as velvet shedding which is rare to capture. Typically spring through summer, the male deer's antlers will look rounded and velvety. The thick velvet skin is needed to carry nutrients efficiently all the way up the antlers to make them very strong each year as they are regrown - possibly the fastest-growing structure in the mammal world! As autumn begins, the skin dies and falls off with some tree-rubbing assistance, and the strong, sharp, bony antlers are revealed, ready for flair and fighting to win over their mates.
But if cursed pics are something you're not very fond of, try the polar opposite of them and check out these 50 blessed ones.
But that's not all. In case you're willing to do a little digging yourself, there’s also a hybrid variant that is both blessed and cursed. It's called ‘blursed.’
When a little girl asks you to play house with her, you play house with her!

Load More Replies...Imagine what the garden will look like the next day. I know 'cause I get the buggers in my garden too and they wreck everything, dig up the garden, ruin plants. Maaaaan. I once opened the back door and surprised a badger. It was about 3 meters from the door. I went OH, my cat went NOPE and the badger went SH!T and ran away. Hahaha.
Skunk convention ruined after being overrun by angry badgers who had arrived on the wrong day.
Unreleased picture of the Hufflepuff common room, taken at night...
Not sure if they are those specifically but I would take skunks over honey badgers any day. At least skunks only spray as a last resort.
Load More Replies...wisconsin fans would be ecstatic if this showed up at their house
The badgers gather in a full moon to look at your search history what they found was very disturbing.
The cats all "Fellas! Fellas! HEY! This was supposed to be a ZOOM meeting!! C'mon!!!"
That cat is brave, badgers are vicious, I would be running inside and locking the door.
I have never seen a badger now I know why. This person is hording them all
A group of bangers is called a "bloody hell, where did all of these bangers come from?".
Imagine if they collectively attacked the photographer. He be dead
Has to be CG. Badgers are really solitary animals. You would never get this many in the same place.
Badgers aren’t solitary, they live in Clans and are highly sociable. I’ve seen eight badgers foraging in one place where food was plentiful.
Load More Replies...That's just so dangerous! All kinds of bacteria, chemicals, and other stuff.
I don't think there is anything wrong with this TBH. It's like grandma (RIP) watching lil Timmy play.
Note: this post originally had 97 images. It’s been shortened to the top 50 images based on user votes.
Quite the broad category. Most of what I gathered was Animals have reflective eyes- duh, not scary Westerners waste food for likes- sad People suck at Halloween costumes
I shall gift one of my own images into this collection. iapeetus-6...8a-png.jpg
Half of these pictures are just bad shops. Probably from /x/ on 4chan in the latter half of the 2000s.
People are getting more desperate by the day. Thanks for the madness and insanity, YouTube, Jackass, and Facebook.
